If Ben Wallace is to blame, then why isn't there a huge brawl whenever there's pushing and shoving on the court? What Kendrick Perkins did to Desmond Mason last night was just as bad, if not worse that what Wallace did to Artest, and there was no brawl afterward.

Re: O'Neal: "If anybody should be blamed, it's Ben Wallace,"

I probably shouldnt have posted this, but this is the first time I had seen anyone from either side speak out.

I am not here much any more and Ill leave this be, but i have to say I agree with a lot of you. I also agree with what JO is saying.

Looking at these numbers, and saying that no one person should be held responsible:

Pacers Players Total= 134 Games Suspended
Pistons Players Total = 9 Games Suspended
NBA Punishment for Pistons fans = None.
NBA Punishment for Palace = None.

Does that make it seem like blame went around to everyone fairly?

        Thats for you to decide

That argument is compeltely futile and pointless. You cannot compare a brawl against one another.
One went into the stands because Artest went into the stands because he was Ron Artest. do you suspect everyone to act the same.

When you incriminate Ben Wallace, you are essentially suggesting that anyone who gets initiates a scuffle during a game, on the court, is risking the fight boiling over to the stands. If you really do think that thought should have crossed Wallace's mind before shoving Artest, then you are saying that ANY player involved in ANY minor fight (which is what this was until the whole cup throwing business) should think "Hey, I better not touch him, because if I do, it could spread into the crowd".

I must have mis-understood your post and most-likely mis-read it. I thought you were incriminating ron Artest. Still although you cannot compare what happened one day to another day.
