When Embiid is comes back Simmons better not go back to chilling with 15 pts unless they are winning big. When I mentioned earlier about thinking that Embiid should go for 40 in this game, I was also thinking that Ben should score a ton too, because almost no one can guard him either when he's serious about getting into the paint, but didn't mention it because he too passive most of the time.

It looks like the Randle guys are being vindicated, I feel vindicated as a Clarkson guy.

This is a bad loss for Miami.

Wiseman's wrist must have really been wrecked, it will be interesting to how he get reintegrated when he returns.

With AD gone for probably a month Kuzma will get the chance to show that he's that dude.

Out of the 19 wins in the last 20 games, 17 of them have been double digit wins for the Jazz

Team basketball is fun. I just hope it's more 2014 Spurs team basketball rather than 60-win Hawks team basketball

Funny seeing these nightly Jazz "teamwork" videos they used to post about the Spurs, lol

I love it though, well oiled machine over there with a legit superstar...Bojan was such a great pick up too.

Do you think you guys will make any more minor moves?

Brooklyn making money off this dribble hand off series with either Green or Jordan. I've seen them run the play to start games off. But it's a tough cover if the defense doesn't communicate correctly

Only move i could see is picking up another wing defender, we have Shaq Harrison but he hasn't gotten any burn and his jumper is shaky

Maybe an insurance point guard in case Conley gets banged up again, even though Ingles has more or less been splitting point duties with Mitchell and doing it very well while Conley's out

Azubuike did get hurt in a G-League game so if Rudy or Favs go down we could use another true big man, Juwan Morgan is serviceable in case of emergencies though

AD's injury is exactly why I dont get the people saying the Lakers were locks to repeat

Has everyone conveniently forgot about how injury prone the guy is? He's a top 5ish player when he's healthy, no doubt, but he never seems to be healthy except for most of last season

Hopefully it really is just a calf strain and nothing wrong with his Achilles. They probably should've been resting him anyway

Lakers being a lock to repeat is stupid regardless of AD being injury prone.

Hopefully ad injury forces the lakers to go after a 5 asap. Gasol isnt a starter.

Julius Randle 44 pts (14/22) 9 Rebs 5 Asts. Crazy to see him hit 7 3s, never thought he'd become this capable of a 3 pt shooter.

100% he’s right... the problem is the media wants to make that story/situation bigger than what it is and something it’s not. Sadly that goes outside of sports too, but they have to get those views and clicks. They’ll sell/promote anything that makes them money.

Check out the second play here. They run some window dressing with a fake pick and roll into a DHO. Allen doesn't react quick enough because he's trying to sink into the paint off Green who's not a threat from out there. It's in genius.

Like OJ said, he's 100 right. The worst situation is when player is told to sit or sent home. But they don't trade him. That's possible the worst out come of those situations. For a player that's time they missed. Why not just let them play?

There are so many double standards re: teams and players. Which is why I never go along with people actively rooting for a guy to re-sign with the team that drafted him just out of loyalty and because it's somehow good for the league that top players play in smaller markets, etc. When teams have the power they move guys and don't give a damn about loyalty or keeping the league "balanced."
