Nets settled for too many threes at the end obviously had to shoot that last one. Great game though.

Re: 4/20 - 5/3 Games Discussion Thread
I think Van Gundy has a valid point. If a player is complaining about a call the refs made, they review it and the player was correct, why should he be fined for the tech? I dunno, just seems unfair. I’ve actually felt that way for years, with all of the egregious missed calls in recent times.
They often do the thing where they’ll come on the next day and admit that they missed the call. I’m always thinking like, “Well, what does that accomplish, if your missed call cost the other team the game, and you’re not gonna reverse the decision?”
JVG is the king of those armchair common sense sounding ideas tho lol.Comment

the officiating in POR/BOS game was probably as bad as I've seen it all season long. Then the Brown/JT injuries.

I mean Davis hasn’t really shown or tried to be anything different even before his injury. He hasn’t been last years AD for this whole season. Unless he “flips a switch” and is just magically bubble AD when the post season starts again I’m not sure how people have the Lakers as title favorites.

And Bron would have to get back to pre-injury Bron as well.

Only when the Lakers are officially eliminated from the playoffs will I believe that they aren't still one of the top title contenders. I don't want to hear about Suns and Nuggets teams like they are proven commodities until they actually live up to that.Comment

Drummond ain't it, dude absolutely ruins the starting 5. Gotta go back to the team that got you to 21-6. Hope Vogel gives Gasol more run (I expect him to in the playoffs but they should still get those reps in soon).Comment

Re: 4/20 - 5/3 Games Discussion Thread
Drummond not a winning player. No rim protection, can't move his feet, clumsy on offense and careless with the ball. I think they're trying to make it easyier for Davis to get back healthy but man it's hard to watch. And AD ends up on the floor every other play. The entire squad plays like they've been to three straight finals in a row. They look banged up, tired and without hunger.
Still 10 games to figure it out but it's looking pretty rough.Comment
