We forgot (I think) to acknowledge it but in Game 1 NOT including overtime, Coach Bud actually played Giannis 40 minutes!!!

Yep, game 1 he played the starters more than he has in the past playoffs, not just Giannis.

Bud's been a bit more flexible on D this year, too.

Looks like the Heat is trying to put the extra hurt on Giannis too.

The adjustment of Giannis attacking fun the wing. Changes so much.

I’ve been begging for these changes since the first day Toronto hit Milwaukee with the wall. I cannot believe it took two years for Bud to realize the wall isn’t actually difficult to beat. The only thing I can think is it took Giannis time to accept that he needed to be used in different ways to make it easier to beat it.

Only thing I can think of is they got destroyed when they switched off a Bucks playoff game in the middle of a blowout last year. There was a lot of crying about how they’d never do that if it was a big market team winning and stuff.

Especially now and it was ridiculous at the time too if the rumors were true, but Miami refusing to part ways with Tyler ****ing Herro for Harden or Lowry looks really really bad right now.

I always thought and still believe that it was some heat in the moment mess but it was wild how this actually became a thing and I will never forgive NBA Twitter for allowing this. All because he became a meme in the playoffs, lol

Product of the bubble for sure but in reality he was only good in the Boston series. Was mediocre at best the rest of the playoffs.

Shoutout to bballref, they now show players averages by each playoff series...take a look, nothing he did was great. I think he made some clutch shots against Boston? All I remember is that and his stupid f'n grin.

I still remember Herro being ranked as a top 60 player in the NBA coming into the season on those ESPN rankings. And remember him being considered the centerpiece in potential Giannis trades.

I think that's the tricky part about coaching superstars. I mean great players. A coach can't be too strict in controlling his superstars. But he also can't let them loose.

But agree should of been 2 years ago.
