I was thinking that 35/13/5 must be one of the most dominant stat lines from a winning player in a finals then looked at Shaq in the three-peat. Lol that dude was ridiculous.

Yep - prime Shaq is underrated. Jordan in the 1993 finals was amazing as well; 41-9-7.

I was actually thinking halfway through this series that this matchup felt a little similar to Jordan vs Phoenix in that the Suns just had absolutely nobody even close to being able to match up with Giannis. That team was similar with Jordan. At least this team had Ayton, but as slow as he was to rotate these last couple of games that didn't matter either. LeBron vs Orlando comes to mind as another series where one team was just completely outmatched at the positions needed to defend the stud, Cavs lost that though obviously.

Man...as happy as I am for Giannis, watching Chris Paul walk off that court and fight back the tears, that was hard. I have been a CP3 fan since he was in high school; really wanted him to get a ring and that hit different.

Crazy to think when Giannis went down, most of us assumed the Bucks were done. Yet here they are NBA Champs.

They were close to being done more than once in these playoffs. Should have known they were destined for this moment with that KD shot. KD wears a size 17 shoe normally, but when he’s playing he prefers the feel of a size 18. If that dude wears his actual shoe size instead of a whole foot difference, that’s a 3 to eliminate the Bucks in game 7 and we’re having a totally different conversation today. Those are those championship breaks that every title team has

Congrats to any Milwaukee fans we have here...

Glad to see Middleton and Giannis both get their rings too. Parity is good for the league and right now there's several really good teams out there so hopefully the coming years will be just as entertaining as these playoffs were.
