2021 NBA Finals: (2)Phoenix Suns vs (3)Milwaukee Bucks

Yeah all the stars aligned for Phoenix and they still couldn't get it done.

AD's injury is the only reason they made it out of the first round and I can't be convinced otherwise

Don't see Phoenix making this kind of run again. Booker still needs to grow as does Ayton and well all of them really and no guarantee CP3 returns either

He was an absolute stud in the regular season. In a world where you can't win 6th man of the year while playing starter minutes, he would have been a contender for the true 6th man award.

A bit uneven in the playoffs though as he just wasn't a good fit in some matchups but he (and Pat) came through for us in the Finals big time.

And the Knicks felt it was best to let him walk instead of having at least one big who can shoot the three. Sweet.

Pat really impressed me, I think mostly because he just seemed to be the weak link for them but he just kept getting better as the playoffs progressed. Felt like he shot lights out in the finals, and even last night which might have been his absolute worst game he still had so many timely rebounds and making hustle plays for those 50/50 balls.

“Later at the press conference, Portis acknowledged his redemption season in Brew City may not have happened. He confirmed a report from The Post that the Knicks made him a higher offer than the Bucks during free agency.”

This was still a crazy photo last night. Just the transformation of Giannis. Dude went from “can I take your daughter out tonight sir?” To “tell my woman I’m outside and send your wife too”

And he still has room for improvement too.

Crazy how much his physique has changed since entering the league. He's really put the work in to become an even better athlete.

And not just props to him but Middleton (who has been often doubted as a "second banana"), Jrue Holiday (his personal journey is incredible too especially with wife nearly passing during child birth) & everyone on that team proving the doubters wrong.

Everyone was riding and dogging them hard after losing to Miami last season, but they showed what being champions is all about.

Side - note: And props to Bryn Forbes for getting a chip after many, many Spur fans questioned his place in the league. Obviously, it got impossible for coach Bud to hide him the further they got, yet he was huge in the opening round against Miami.

It's really cool to see the youthful exuberance of Giannis and celebrating the championship. I just saw the Chik Fil A and clip with him talking to his brother. You can tell it means a lot to him and the city.

I need Quickley to have the kind of confidence this man has, dude was the embodiment of shooters shoot every time I saw him out there.

I’ll be so glad next year when my Nets will be the Cinderella team that everyone will get behind to watch them triumph to victory like they did for the Bucks this year.

He did a very admirable job of replacing everything that made Donte an important starter for us. Pat and Middleton were the biggest scape goats on the team amongst Bucks fans for years now and they both came through with flying colors in their own ways on this run. Really proud of them (and the rest of the team obviously).

Nope, the Nets are still the wicked stepmother. I don't know how the Lakers can be second with only Bron and AD basically guaranteed to return.

The only slight bummer of this is that after all the years he gave us, through mostly dark times but glimmers of hope at the end, Ersan Ilyasova wasn't with the team to finally break through. That dude was here basically every step of the way except the last step.
