Re: 2021 NBA Finals: (2)Phoenix Suns vs (3)Milwaukee Bucks

Props to Giannis and the entire team. They truly did it all, beating my picks, Brooklyn and Phoenix. While I'm happy for the Greek Freak, I'm also really sad for CP3. He's joining that damn, damn list, with Malone, Stockton, Ewing, Reggie, Chuck...

You could see it in his eyes as soon as he left for the locker room. He's not reaching this stage again. Luka will return with another season on his shoulders, Jamal Murray will be back in Denver, Klay will be back with the Warriors, Kawhi will return for the Clips, LeBron and the Brow will be back as well. It's a shame.

Well I’m never watching another regular season basketball game after last night. Bucks had best regular season record by a mile in the 2 years prior and couldn’t do a thing in the playoffs or even get to a Finals. They never left, but people went all in on the Nets even after the amount of depth they gave up in the Harden trade. Everyone counted out Milwaukee anyways

It’s crazy to think the Nets might be champions with no Harden trade, but would that have been possible? LeVert, Prince, Allen on this years team instead of 50% of Harden? Crazy to think about. Would have put them in decent position to resign Allen and keep Dinwiddie after this year as well.

I believe if Dinwiddie doesnt tear his ACL, then the Nets dont end up making the trade for Harden. They had a nice core before Harden arrived, but what happened in the playoffs is 100% what I was worried about with their team. They can either win it all if they get hot at the right time, or they can lose in the 1st or 2nd round if one of their 3 stars goes down

You do remember what to LeVert right after he got traded?

And Prince was already out of the rotation and wasn’t doing much in the opportunities he was given. So no, the result would’ve most likely would’ve been the same(no Championship in Year 1).

And I’m 94% certain nothing would’ve changed with Spencer as far as him wanting to leave, get paid more than he’s getting here AND start.

A LOT of things would’ve needed to go right for us to win it and there was a lot of random **** that happened that nobody could’ve called.

I'm not trying to talk about the Nets lol. That will get me started on the Kyrie injury [emoji23]. I'm good.

Let's not act like even the best 2 teams were in the Finals but two of the healthiest. There's a reason the Nets and Lakers are already the betting favorites for next year.

And I'm saying this because there's actually people out there trying to say the Bucks are a superteam, lmao.

Apparently that's the *****-go-to if they don't like who won the title. Even a certain talking-head tried to say last year's Lakers were a superteam to support his Giannis did it without a superteam narrative.

                      LOL, the healthiest two teams?

You mean the same teams without Donte and Saric?

The same team that's it's MVP bent his knee to hyper extend and missed two games and could have been into next season and more?

It is what it is and nothing that happened before diminishes either the Bucks or the Suns winning it all.

Injuries happen and I happen to agree what King said, you need some luck to happen too. ie KD's shoe size

Right, injuries are a part of sports and they'll always be a "war of attrition."

Saying these were the two healthiest teams just sounds like sour grapes, period.

Both teams outplayed who was in front of them and didn't allow outside distractions/injuries to sabotage their seasons.

Yeah but look how LeVert was playing by the time the playoffs started. 25/5/7 in May, 22/5/4 in April.

It’s too difficult to play the “if” game with hypotheticals, but it’s also not wild to think that pushing the Bucks to OT in game 7 might have ended differently with that guy + Allen still on the team instead of 50% Harden. Hell maybe even just Allen, look how much more effective Capela and the Hawks were against Giannis.

I don’t know how in the hell the Lakers with KCP being their 3rd best all around player are fair game to be labeled a super team but the Bucks with Jrue, Middleton, Giannis can’t be.

“Super Team” takes are lazy as hell anyways. Miami got labeled a “Super Team” starting Rio and Joel Anthony [emoji23] But all these loaded dynasty *** teams can’t be labeled “Super Teams” because they were GM build rather than some combo of agent/player/GM built. Some of the takes around that super team lingo are laughable.

That’s assuming he would be playing at all because his issue wasn’t discovered until after he was traded when players were going thru their physicals.

Hell, we literally lost by a few inches(among other things in that series)so it wasn’t like either of those 2 were missed in those 3 losses. Too many other factors in that series as far as us go.

But Phoenix had the luckiest breaks run arguably of all time. Down 2-1 about to go down 3-1 and then no more AD. No Murray in Denver. No Kawhi in LAC. Etc.

Please do not compare ****ing Donte D and Saric to freaking AD, Kawhi, Murray, Kyrie, and Harden though. That's beyond laughable
