    Re: 11/16 - 11/29 Games Discussion Thread

My favorite part of the ordeal is the video of it on ESPN. Not sure which broadcast it is but the commentary team acts like they don't know what set him off. Show the first replay and they are like looks like he may have caught an elbow, but it clearly wasn't intentional.

Cut to the second overhead angle that makes it painfully clear it was intentional, and we get a few seconds of awkward silence before one of them half heartedly says "...that angle we...didn't really get a good look at the two players involved"

    Just pure gold

Getting hit in the face is about as rage inducing as it gets.

That's why if he got right up and did something crazy I wouldn't even be surprised. He was literally face to face with Bron though, he had his chance.

The rest, as the oldheads say, was "selling wolf tickets"....he didn't want any action, lol

If Bron is Avon then DJ is Cutty because “whatever it is in you (Bron) that lets you flow like you flow and do that thing, it ain’t in me (DJ) no more” [emoji23]. Man needs to go open up a gym.

This is probably about the only place on the internet where I can agree with this take and not feel the wrath of god. Every single act in super mega slow motion will always look intentional but I think dude meant to counter-swing toward Stewart but definitely did not intend to connect with the face and induce a bloodbath.

Stewart is generally very low key and quiet but when he gets upset, he really gets upset. A lot of Pistons fans have villainized Blake Griffin for getting into with Isaiah during his first trip back to Detroit but no one really accounted for the possibility that maybe Stewart's the one pushing things to the next level.

Here's another one from last week.

                  <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hnplGcAaFNg" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

A little tussling's kind of fun, in all honesty, so I generally wouldn't mind it. However, Stewart crossed over a couple of lines tonight, to the point where it was less fun and more kind of weird. It takes a lot to get George Blaha to call actions by a Piston sad.

Nuggets F Michael Porter Jr is apparently dealing with a nerve issue in his back which could possibly end his season, per the Michael Singer of the Denver Post.

I like the pairing of Lonzo Ball and Cody White. That could round out the Bulls bench if they can mix that up. Still need another big man though.

Lonzo seems to be driving a tiny bit more the last few games.

Cade and JGrant are nice combo too. They got the big lead before all **** broke loose. Piston has been using a lot of Spain pick and roll.

I didn't watch the game. But Wiggins & Poole going off and jeeeeeezz Klay Thompson & James Wiseman waiting in the wings.

                            Completely disagree.

                            My take:
He took the bow as disrespect which is why he initially approached LeBron. Anyone touches your face that's disrespect. He wanted to let him know that he didn't appreciate it. No reason to swing on him.

Everything changed when he saw his own blood. That's what set him off.

It's one thing to get a free hit off me but knowing you drew blood? That's when we gotta settle it.

I don't think DJ or Russ was really about throwing hands. Maybe holding or pushing but not actually swinging with the rage that Stewart was in. They were just trying to protect LeBron.

Deep down I wish Stewart was able to get free just to see what would've happened. And I don't think he deserves a suspension. A hefty fine for not leaving the court. But not suspended. How the hell would anyone react getting bowed in the face and not being able to respond?

You may be right. Because at first he was just having words with Lebron. He was mad. But he wasn't off his rocker yet. He either saw his blood and came to his senses and realized the severity of it. Or somebody said something.

But its a really good point because when your adrenaline is pumping you don't know you're leaking immediately and then you see it and then you just see red.

Well he didn’t get bowed in the face. He caught some wrist/hand for Bron trying to swing him off of him. To be fair we see it happen quite often. This one just happened to draw a lot of blood (still not sure how) .. regardless most people don’t run around the court acting like an enraged lunatic. I don’t think any of that was justifiable, and most likely will face suspension.
