It was also said that the Maloof Bros. did want to pay luxury tax and few weeks ago, and don't beileve everything on ESPN, they tell you what they want you hear.

just thinking about the Hawks, but anyway when I first heard the deal I was like WTF? but now I remember what the Maloof said and how they were gonna made a trade or trade during the offseason.

Of course....Cause you're more credible than ESPN...

Look at the salaries.KT,Williamson,Skinner all have deals that were signed in the past 2 seasons.KT is at 5 years for 55 mil or something,Williamson was offered alot of the MLE as was Skinner.

Horrible deal..I don't know how anyone can defend this. They couldn't even get Glen"Big Fraud"Robinson's expiring contract out of this deal.

                      Re: Webber to the Sixers

Reports are now Glenn Robinson will be activated soon. He is such a dog in every sense of the word, but if he can give the Sixers anything like what he's capable of doing... That's three all-star players out there. Again, what a great deal from the Sixer's view point.

Stepping back and looking at this deal more objectively, Vinceanity2k3 is right. Webber's never been the type of player who can carry a team by himself. He just doesn't have the skill set necessary to do it. But pairing Iverson and Webber is dynamic combination. Iverson has never had a "co-star" now he does. And Webber now has a player that can draw the defense in and let Webber slip open for an easy two. I don't really want to use this comparison, but i see this team playing in the mold of the way the Fab 5 did.

If a team is over the cap, for a trade to happen the overall salaries traded have to be within 15% so this isn't really a contract dumping because the salaries they get in return are at least withing 15% of what Webber's, Barnes, and Bradley's salary
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah I guess I was wrong its not a salary dump. Then why do it just because of team chemistry? You got to be kidding me. I know Peja and C-Web have some beef about who's team it is and the play style but that was a weird move, don't understand that at all. Why doesn't anyone wanna trade with the knicks?
