Re: Webber to the Sixers
If a team is over the cap, for a trade to happen the overall salaries traded have to be within 15% so this isn't really a contract dumping because the salaries they get in return are at least withing 15% of what Webber's, Barnes, and Bradley's salary
Reports are now Glenn Robinson will be activated soon. He is such a dog in every sense of the word, but if he can give the Sixers anything like what he's capable of doing... That's three all-star players out there. Again, what a great deal from the Sixer's view point.Comment

I know Peja and C-Web have some beef about who's team it is and the play style but that was a weird move, don't understand that at all. Why doesn't anyone wanna trade with the knicks?
You can't be serious right?
What in the hell do the Knicks have to offer that would improve anyone's team? Thats why they are where they are right now at the bottom.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Thats all well and good but unless they were opening alot of room off the CAP what teams gets rid off a PF as good as Webber for what they recieved. Its not like SacTown was out of the playoffs. Bad move by the KIngs because of the talent they recieved in return during a playoff contending year.
Peja better be worth it thats all I hope...No more airball on wide open threes in the playoffs.Comment

Re: Webber to the Sixers
Great move by Billy King!!! Thank goodness he pulled off a good deal! Man the Kings got it right up the arse in this deal. This makes them easily the division winners (if Webber can stay healthy long enough to get some wins that is). Now they have a great slasher/passer in Iverson, good low-post presence/good passer in Webber, good young high-octane rookie stud of the future in Iguodala, and a great 3-point outside shooter to spread the defense in Kyle Korver. For the future (like 6-8 years from now) this may not seem like a great deal due to Webbers/Iverson's growing age and health concerns, but for the next 5 or so years there is going to be some pretty exciting basketball in Philly. Man, I hope P2K is thrilled, especially given the fact that we were still able to hold all our young talent and keep Robinson's expiring contract for another possible deal down the road. Or, they could just let Robinson go now and get about 12 mil to use to resign their young talent. The worst case senario is that Webber doesn't stay healthy enough to contribute on the court, but at least we have another all-star caliber player on our team.Comment
