I didn’t watch the game, but was surprised when Atlanta came back to win. What happened?

With Garland and Rubio out we don’t have a reliable playmaker so when the shots stop going in elsewhere we’re relying on Pangos or Okoro to try to create and neither can. Trae also started off pretty slow and took over in the third and by that point the Cavs were dead.

Technically you’re right, the Lakers won’t get anything in return because the Cavs are sending back Denzel Valentine in the deal. He’s as close to nothing as possible. But they’re expected to waive him and create a roster spot

That's pretty cool. I remember how much at the rim he was during those early days. He's game has rounded out at all 3 levels. Free throws not the greatest. Now he's shooting from 40 feet [emoji23]. Like KD. I'm just trying to enjoy all these guys. I felt like we were robbed of Kobe in more ways than one. I'm never going to take these guys for granted again.

Bron is a “best player in the league” caliber guy whether he’s playing his natural position, point guard, or “center”. It’s ridiculous.

Really though I think the Lakers are on to something with Bron as the ball screener, post player, and primary back cutter. Looks more natural for Westbrook and the rest of these guys just haven’t been great at playing off LeBron or finishing off set plays. Not sure what that looks like with AD but for the past few weeks now they’ve been good enough offensively, just need to defend and AD will bolster that and keeping Johnson and being healthy overall will help too.
