Josh Giddey got a nice stat line right now. One rebound from a triple dub. But nice to see Luka back.

Man I'm very disappointed with the Suns-Hornets game. Thought it would of been closer.

I honestly believe that if the Lakers had Jalen Brunson instead of Westbrook that we would have like 8 more wins.

Just seeing Giddey's numbers, being in OKC during a tank era means that he's basically balling out in total anonymity right now.

I'm sure Stephen Silas deserves a share of responsibility for whatever the situation is in Houston but I'd stop way, way, way, way short of suggesting that a dude with a history of big time locker room issues deciding to drive home midway through a game defaults as Silas' fault without knowing the context of it all.

I do think coaches (and teachers, for that matter) hold a lot of responsibility for setting the tone for a team. But for me, a player's behavior is ultimately the player's responsibility, in my opinion. Maybe Porter didn't like John Lucas calling out his effort level, but it's Porter's responsibility to decide whether he thinks it's a good idea to drive home in the middle of a game.

I don't know, maybe it's the coach and teacher in me talking. I just think it's a lot more complex than just laying any outcome at the foot of whoever's in charge. Something this wild is usually a lot more complex and often involves factors that may extend well beyond a coach's control.

Fair points. But it wasn't Porter making the decision to leave that made me say what I said. It was the combination of Porter doing what he did and Wood refusing to check back in the game. One guy doing things like that is just a miscreant. Multiple guys going rogue is a culture.

Love went back to the bench last night and nothing changed. Averaging around 25 a night in the last 6 games, he has to be in for a shot at 6th man if he keeps this up.
