That's how I watched the end of the game.

For the most part, I liked it. But there were times, they should have stuck to certain games instead of switching back and forth as much and other moments where they should have went away from games that were "over".

It is good for those who are into fantasy basketball and gambling.

I would guess it bothers you since you bringing it up out of nowhere.

Zach has been balling for a while now. When the All-Star game was here in Chicago a couple years ago and Zach was carrying these scrubs with career highs in points, rebounds and steals at the time of selections and didn't even make the team at all, all we heard was how he didn't get snubbed because the Bulls were a garbage team sitting with 19 wins at the time of all-star selections. Empty calorie scorer on a bad team etc. Here we are now and Zach is still putting up numbers and doing it more efficiently than he's ever been on a 1st, 2nd place team in the conference and he's still getting snubbed for a dude on team that wouldn't even make the playoffs if they started today.

I get it with the fan voting and Zach will still get in on the reserves but I have legit reason to feel like he's been snubbed yet again considering he's just as big a part of why the Bulls are off to the start they're off to as DeRozan who btw is only averaging about 2 more points per game than Zach (something helped by Zach missing time with injury and COVID) and about 1 more rebound and almost half an assist more than him. So it's not like he's being wildly outplayed by anybody here.

It’s not that serious as far as it bothering me though lol. I brought it up immediately after a game (maybe before it even ended) in the game thread for a game that he dropped 36 and 13 in, during a stretch of like 30+ games now where he’s averaged 30&10, on a day that I listened to NBA radio discuss and take calls on that very topic for like an hour, after see Chuck comment about it as well. It wasn’t all that random.

I’m not saying that LaVine hasn’t been good enough, or that record couldn’t have awarded him the nod, I’m just saying it’s not like Trae is snub level behind him. Dude has accounted for more than 700 more points than Zach this year (scored and assisted) despite only playing 3 more games. He’s leading the league in total points scored as of right now. You mention at the end of your post “it’s not like he’s being wildly outplayed by anybody” and that’s basically the same argument I’m making for both players. That Trae isn’t being wildly outplayed either.

As far as record though I do think it matters but I don’t think it’s necessarily apples to apples either. At that point in time Zach had never shown the ability to do anything other than get some good stats on a bad team. So fair or not fair to him people were obviously going to consider the record to some degree. The same doesn’t apply to Trae. I’m not saying record just should be ignored, but the Hawks hovered around .500 last year too like they are now only to go on a run, get the 5 seed, and make the ECF, largely based upon Trae’s ability to showcase his stats weren’t empty. Whether that’s fair in terms of the All-Star game or not it’s still a preconceived notion that’s going to exist for voters. It’s no different than when players keep making all defensive teams 3 years after they stopped playing defense.

Don’t get me wrong as a player to watch I like Zach more, in terms of All-Star purposes he’s EASILY the more exciting draw for an up and down game.. I’m just not seeing where based on how they have performed he’s been snubbed when Trae has been playing like he has. I’d be interested in knowing how the votes played out. To me Zach would be the better choice for fan votes but I do know Trae has a following. I wouldn’t be surprised if the player and media portion went with DeMar > Zach and then went with a true “point” guard and didn’t even consider not having one at all. If KD doesn’t get to play I’m sure we’ll find out who was the next highest in votes.

After watching that last Sixers-Grizzlies sequences a couple times, they could have called a foul on Danny Green on that last 3pt attempt. And they could have called a tech on Curry for being on the court before the game expired. Didn't realize he wasn't in the game, but was under on the court celebrating as Maxey made that last second layup lol.

He has lol. Seems to be out of his head. These are peak Tobias games where he gives you good efficient numbers. In a perfect world, you want him scoring 25-30 on efficient numbers.

I'm still all for trading him though lol. If they can get off that contract, I'm all for it.
