Re: 1/25 - 2/7 Games Discussion Thread
I just meant those shots in particular. I don’t think I’ve noticed him just fling up something where it legitimately didn’t even look like he cared if it hit the rim lol.
Other issue are other issues, he’s been draining possessions for no reason ever since KD went out, but at least he still looked like he wanted to make the shots lol.
Being hyperbolic obviously but last night was frustrating to watch because it was the little things that ****ed us in the end, wasn’t like the Kings didn’t anything to win that game.
That Harden quote was from after the Suns game, which was a big *** mess officiating why(it’s not the reason why we lost).#RespectTheCultureComment

By the end of November/December, folks were back to fussing about how the league “caved” and reverted back to its old ways. It right around the time when Harden’s FTA started to get back to its usual numbers, lol.
They’re still making those calls.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 02-03-2022, 04:51 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 1/25 - 2/7 Games Discussion Thread
Pack I know you don't love the fit but I would absolutely consider trading him for Simmons.. If I'm the Nets I would do something like Harden, Millsap, Carter and ask for Ben, Curry, Danny Green.
I think Ben checks a lot of boxes for them, can be a primary facilitator while also filling the role of having a 4 or small ball 5 option on the floor. Curry is the type of off-ball player they need and have needed ever since Joe went cold in the playoffs/got hurt this year. Green gives 3&D depth they were missing in last years playoff run.
I think something along those lines gives them more shooting, defense, and versatility than what the team currently has. And still leaves them with trade chips should they look to add a true big man like Nurk or Turner from one of these rebuilding teams.
I look at a rematch against the Bucks, and with Lopez being out so much this year if they were to keep Portis starting at the 5 a line-up with Ben at the 5 would work against them. Could also give them one of Green/KD/Ben on Giannis even on switches which would give me decent confidence on him if I'm the Nets.Comment

And now with the reports from Zack Lowe that Harris might be done for the regular season at least, we need to add some shooting. I know we still have those TPEs and could move Claxton if they don’t care to pay him in the offseason(I’d rather keep him, haven’t seen enough from Sharpe to be ok with letting Clax go).
Other than that, I’m not opposed to your proposal. I’ve already started to accept that he won’t be back and that we took an L on that trade.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 1/25 - 2/7 Games Discussion Thread
Claxton shows tons of flashes but has so many head scratching moments too. Last night even when he had a great game, I think career high, there were a few plays he scored on where he caught the ball and looked like he had no clue what do with it but it just worked out anyways lol.
He’s probably their biggest trade chip for teams who want a young piece back, but I’m with you that I’d rather keep him unless he’s just priced himself out. I don’t think that should be the case though, and he’s shown enough flashes to think that once he puts it all together he should be a solid player.Comment

Atlanta is falling apart man. Trae shouldn't even have had to come back in this game.
