Harden is getting roasted on YouTube over his outfit. One dude said he looked like he stepped off the set of LOTR. Another said why is he wearing curtains, LOL.

I was at the Bucks Pacers game that ended almost a hour ago and I'm the first one to report Giannis scored another 50. lol

Giannis with the 50 piece?!! 🍗

Serge is a nice pick up and I can't wait till Bembry shows up.

Hoping we win out on Goran, Heat's roster is full.

Buddy Hield is the real deal, Indy has a great pure shooter.

He really should be the MVP front runner IMO. Certainly not a lock or anything but he’s now leading the league in scoring while only playing 32 minutes a game and giving us DPOY level defense too. He should be considered the guy to beat.

He’s entered the LeBron territory where he’s made being great so routine that it just gets looked over.

I don’t think you could go wrong with any of Giannis, Joker, Embiid but personally I would still lean Joker. He’s just playing so well. He’s also a lower minutes guy, 33per game, and like Giannis putting up big numbers. Joker is basically 26/14/8, I think I saw he would be the only player ever to average 25/13/7 if those numbers hold. He’s basically shattering all the advanced metrics, he’s the most efficient high volume scorer in the league, and he’s likely going to set the all-time high for PER and BPM.

He currently leads the whole league in PER, OWS, WS, OBPM, DBPM, BPM, VORP, dunks and threes EPM rating, 538’s RAPTOR rating, bball index’s LEBRON metric, thinking basketballs BPM, I’m sure various other all-in-one metrics as well out on the inter-webs too.

His impact metrics are just stupid. His on-off is a whopping +20 this season, Denver has both a top 5 offense and defense with him on the floor, I believe both are a league worst when he’s off. He’s played basically the entire season without Murray and Porter, I know lots of teams have had guys in and out but I don’t think any player has had to shoulder the load of their 2nd and 3rd best players missing pretty much the whole season.

But honestly the real reason I think he’s number 1 for me is his defense. He’s not a DPOTY candidate like Giannis but Joker has actually turned into a good, not average defender this year. The game winning block he had a couple tonight’s ago was a play he wouldn’t have been able to make in the past and I think I saw that was his 4th game winning block this season. Denver has a top 5 defense when he’s on the floor and the worst defense in NBA history with him off.. that’s just insane. In some of those advanced metrics listed above he ranks in the 96th percentile in defensive EPM, only behind Rudy in defensive RAPTOR, 7th in defense RAPM, 13th in defense LEBRON, and number 1 on bball reference DBPM. Some of those metrics are a little messier than offensive ones obviously, but how much Denver depends on him being on the floor to not be literally the worst defensive team in the league (technically ever) is a huge argument for him given all the other stuff too.

If Joker was still a negative or even average defender I’d probably lean more towards Giannis and Embiid. But by most measures he’s been somewhere between a solid to good defender with basically Rudy-level impact on his actual teams defense when he’s on the floor. Obviously all those metrics can be skewed a bit by who he’s on the floor with, and also skewed indirectly by him making their offense more efficient thus allowing their defense to always get set. But I don’t think when it’s all of them like that it’s to be completely ignored either. All those paired with the eye test I’d say illustrate him being a good defender this year. Probably not All-NBA level and definitely not tier 1. But I’ve even seen Draymond and JJ Redick compliment his defense this year as well, so he’s got their eye test too.

Obviously record hurts him. But again if he’s a playoff team without Murray and Porter it’s hard for me to just 100% judge record. I think they are like 6th in the West and I’ll admit being 6th doesn’t look great if you only look at the seed. But if the end of the year comes and they’re in 6th but 6th is only separated from 3rd by 5 games or less or something I think it’ll be tough for him to not get it. Based on current standings If we were to assume having Porter and Murray is enough for a 5 game swing Denver would be 3rd in the West, if we were to assume a 10 game swing they would be 2nd. That same 5 game swing would put them 2nd out of the East teams, 10 game swing 1st.

I know literally nobody asked for any of that lol, but y’all know by now I just nerd out on the ****. I’d be shocked if anybody finished above Giannis, Joker, Embiid as a top 3, and they’ve all been so great I don’t think you could really go wrong with any of them getting it.

Brandon Jennings commenting on Giannis game last evening, lol.

                      34 with 50 balll!!!!!!

                      17/21 😂😂😂😂

                      17/21, 2/3 from 3 pt land, 14-18ft's and 14 rebounds.

So much for just being 7ft tall and "all he can do is dunk."

All joking aside, he has improved his FT shooting and his mid-range and 3pt game, making him a bit more difficult to guard.

Still weird that Kyrie can’t play in the Garden tonight despite it being an away game but Justin Holiday can play in NY with no issues.

I think I saw he was one of like 5 games where a player has ever gotten 50+ on 80%+ shooting. Pretty insane.

Holiday situation I can see the point in that. But agree with the Kyrie playing an away game. But in the same state isn't fine.

Just need to hurry up and get rid of it at this point. Like if we were the Westchester Nets, he’d be playing lol.

Think about it: Justin Holiday can play in the Barclays/MSG as a player but he couldn’t go to a game as a regular fan.

They just fired 1500 city employees for refusing to get the vaccine. If they lift the mandate, there’ll be a teachers union outside of Barclays to stop Kyrie from entering anyway.
