This ROY race is going to be a complete split 3 ways [emoji23]. He fell off a little there before break. But he's definitely back in it. They been playing pretty well the last month and a half.

    Luka with the put back!!!

Giannis is obviously best case scenario and a stretch for now, but there is some reason for comparisons.

But both guys at age 20 per 36 mins:
    Giannis: 49.1% FG, 49.6 EFG%, 7.7 RPG, 2.9 APG,1.0 STL, 1.2 BLK, 14.6 PPG, 14.8 PER

    Scottie: 48.7% FG, 52.0 EFG%, 7.7 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.1 STL, 0.8 BLK, 15.2 PPG, 15.9 PER

I know the numbers….. It’s just foolish to compare the numbers. They are completely different players type. Even different situations. He more the former raptor in my opinion

Lakers playing with a little PRIDE in this second half!

Those numbers leave off something very important:
          Giannis: 6'11"
          Scottie: 6'7"

I don't think Scottie has the potential to guard every position on the court. Those numbers may be very similar, but Giannis' defense is what makes him special. Also like jeebs alluded to, they're different player types. Giannis can create his own shot and the offense can run thru him. Scottie is highly dependent on others for his shot.

Edit: Also Giannis can make a floater

Ugly first half but I thought the game last night was enjoyable. Maybe not so much from the Lakers fan point of view so I get that, but lots of up and down action in the 4th up until the very end really. Couple of nasty shots from Luka. Lakers went cold exactly when they didn't need to. Melo and Monk had some great looks. Execution wise after half-time wasn't anything to be upset over though.

It kinda sucks that some of their biggest problems even with all the other bad fits/decisions could have been fixed simply by just keeping Caruso and Morris. Rumors around the deadline claimed Schroder wanted to come back as a back-up to Russ for the same money he singed in Boston (which is the money they gave Nunn).. I know he wasn't AD's favorite to play with but that 6th man role has always suited him best and I think the Lakers did field a top tier defense and one of the best 5-man line-ups with him last year.

Just big misses right in from of them that could have been easy choices, largely for tax reasons when they are the damn Lakers.. It's silly.

Saw they grabbed DJ Augustin and Wenyen Gabriel. They both can fit a need but still a far cry from just keeping guys they already had.

I've seen both of them in person. Giannis , when he was that young was already a full Court beast.

By the time Jason Kidd got a hold of him (put him at the point guard spot). Oh man his entire game took off. Scottie is more Kawhi. I think he can get there. Just needs to work on his iso game and the mid range.

Cavs get DG back. They need to get health and quick. Hornets need a win badly.

Also speaking of Bucks. They play the Heat tonight. Could be a really good game. We don't talk about the Heat enough around here.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Those Millsap minutes ain't cutting it. Furkan has struggled all year, might as well see what Isaiah Joe can give us

Knicks definitely stepping up tonight. Philly got caught up in the hype

Knicks definitely has more energy so far and those 16 points off 8 forced TOs is definitely key to their lead.

You can definitely see some of the Sixers weakness. Might as well see what WCS can do at this point because Millsap. Furkan needs to be out of the rotation. Perimeter defense outside of the obvious names is a weakness. And the obvious struggling with containing Offensive Rebounding continues to be a issue.

I just got to say. RJ Barrett defense is just as good as his offense. Striped Harris on one end and then hit a 3 at the other end.
