Still crazy to watch him do this though. The 56 yeah but late in the game setting all those off ball screens, switched onto Poole and Curry and got stops, drawing charges, protecting the rim, finishing breaks.

It’s these type of games where I feel like if he’s healthy and can still gear up to this come playoff time then he’s not a player you want to see no matter how bad they’ve been struggling.

But yeah sadly they need this from him just to compete right now. A wasted year with him still being able to play like this for sure. Best part about this game was just not having to suffer through watching Ariza.

We'll see if Spencer can keep this up, he got off to a hot start with Washington too.

But if he does continue playing at this high of a level I think it changes it from looking at it from a "who won the trade" angle and into a large indication that Washington has some deeper underlying issues. Wonder how much rope Wes will be given

Spence’s style play works exactly with what J.Kidd needs because it’s the same style that helped him thrived in BK as opposed to just waiting on the wing like he was doing for the most part in DC.
