All the completely way off-topic...... How many of y'all ever ****ed with the game, "Street Hoops Vol. 2"? I learned about a lot of legends off that game and those loading screen.

Hustle was pretty solid for a recent basketball movie but that’s all I got. Do we count Uncut Gems as a basketball movie? Lol

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
If they’re trying to call them right on the spot I don’t see how it’ll ever work. The issue is refs fall for it in the moment. And if we start stopping the game to review more stuff again I’m gonna lose my mind.
Hopefully they mean they’ll have sky judges reviewing it while the game goes on and assess technicals retroactively.
I still think they need to just skip the technicals and go straight to suspensions personally.

If it’s the former, I remember that game very well. It’s a cool lil change of pace from NBA Street. And 1 Streetball was another one that was aight too.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
I mean sure I'm all for this new technical rule, but it won't mean much if it isn't enforced. The refs have to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to the offensive player and stop assuming that a foul occurred. It seems like that is what happens a lot, a guy attacks the rim and the ref just blows his whistle because he thinks the defender probably fouledComment

I’m assuming he’s talking about this game, and I didn’t think they made a V2.

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Probably Cost of Development vs potential profit/revenue. Games back then cost a lot less to develop and took less time to develop. That was my favorite era of gaming. There were always multiple game options for each genre. Nowadays, it seems like there is just one option per genre and if you don't like it, then your SOL. We seen AAA studios drop sports title when they don't sell well, so it's understandable when AA or independent studios don't even want to try. But, I do think it's easier to market/advertise games than it was in the past. I just wish more publishers would be willing to put their hand in the sports game marketComment

"NBA’s Competition Committee is in serious discussions on awarding teams a second and final challenge if first challenge is ruled successful beginning with the 2023-24 season, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport."
I like this. Just because there almost always seems to be obvious challengable moments early in games that gets passed on because you don't want to use your only challenge early in gamesComment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Streetball was also very popular during that time too and not just with Basketball.
You had the NBA Street Series, Street Hoops, And 1 Streetball in addition to the NFL Street, FIFA Street and MLB Slugfest.
We had Sports Games out the *** during the early-mid 00s that’s not even including the great Madden/Live/NHL Games that EA was blessing us with too. This generation will never know how great pre-online gaming was.#RespectTheCultureComment
