Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
.. and I would guess that should kick the expansion talk into overdrive as that should set the franchise buy-in.You want free speech?
Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.Comment

Wouldn’t hold your breath on that, based on Silver’s recent comments.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
I think there is enough talent in the league where the concern shouldn't be "dilution". Especially if it is Seattle and Las Vegas. Those are big enough markets where those teams would be free agent destinations. As long as the expansion teams have a good organization, it shouldn't be an issue. One of the positives about the play-ins is that some of the teams have been fighting for the chance to get in playoffs. Sacramento would love the chance to just to get in the play-in lol. Most of the sustained bad teams are a result of a poor organization or lack of direction/vision. Like OKC, I guess the goal is to aquire as many firsts and hope to hit big on a pick and use other assets to build the team outComment

Remember, these are the same 30 Owners who want to maximize as much profit as they can but in the same breath claim “broke”(by rich people standards, not ours).#RespectTheCultureComment

I don’t think there’s anywhere near enough talent in the league to stop the dilution concerns.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
But I do think you can add two more teams and have a solid expansion draft and decent hit on draft picks and not worry about the teams being bottom dwellers for a long time. Plus like I said Seattle and Las Vegas are attractive destinations. Seattle obviously has a strong basketball history and Las Vegas is a good market. So players should want to go there and fans will flock to bothLast edited by illwill10; 06-03-2022, 10:29 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Just watched that 30 for 30 And 1 episode for the first time…definitely took me on a nostalgia trip, lol.
I was 14-15 when it started popping off and the impact it had on my neighborhood as far as how we looked/enjoyed Basketball, how it impacted the culture. Def wasn’t lying about someone having the mixtape, loaning it out to a friend and not seeing it again for like 3 weeks because that was my *** doing that lmao#RespectTheCultureComment

I was about to say!
That was a great game! I rented that mug from blockbuster after playing it on a demo disc [emoji1787]
I was disappointed they never built on that. Thought it was a great alternative to NBA Street.
Stole a couple moves from it too that worked like a charm in the real world [emoji41][emoji23]Comment
