I have no doubt the leagues could get themselves a very fat check from a streaming partner to carry they're game libraries ala Peacock and the WWE Network. Even if they launched a service themselves the way WWE started, they could make a ton on subscribers for that content. Especially the NFL with the access to the All 22 cam you get out of GP.

    I didn’t know that…that’s pretty dope.

I think the NBA League Pass only gives you like 20 or so random classic games and the Finals games from 2000-present

NBA needs to step it up..

      NBA Off Topic Thread

      That’s what I’m saying.

We’ve been having this same conversation every year for the last 10 years on here, complaining about the NBA has been slacking in having it’s one GamePass where we could watch any game we want, without having to go on YouTube and hope that certain channels/users on there don’t get shut down because the league didn’t approve it.

It’s 2022 and they still have nothing like that.

It could be worse, we could be stuck with the MLB model with their league pass deal where they blackout your in market games even if you're 3+ hours from the stadium...

That’s the exact same model the NBA has, I can’t watch Wizards games on League Pass.

Are you talking about him saying Boston fans are racist as ****? Second time in less than a week someone talked about something Bron said without saying what he said. Did Rich Paul hire the SEALs?

Same **** for me in Atlanta.

I have YouTube TV and LP but can’t catch any Hawks games down here.

And Bron bringing up racist Boston Fans? Must be a bitter dude…

I had Youtube TV, then they lost the Fox Regional Netowrks and I had to swap to Directv's streaming service. I legit change streaming services a few times a year based on what sports season it is. It's a pretty asinine situation.

I didn't realize the NBA was just as bad. I thought League Pass was legit league pass even if you're in market. I'm in SW GA games so I always get Heat games.

Yeah, didn't Payton Pritchard had 92 in the same setting either last summer or the previous?

Yeah, at'll happen in a glorified open gym setting.

I always wonder how teammates are feeling in situations like this. Those clips are literally just four guys standing behind the 3-point line watching Flynn iso. I had a rec league teammate who was a 50 threat each night and while it was neat to watch him do his thing, at some point you hit that existential crisis where it's like, "What is my purpose here?"

NBA players cooking in Pro-Am leagues? What a surprise

Bron was playing in the Drew League yesterday and dropped 43 and 12 like it was nothing.

It’s definitely not that high for me but it’s firmly on the list of cities I’d consider leaving DC for. Not sure if I can move that far north again after growing up a few hours away though…those winters were brutal. Having said that, summers in DC can get pretty bad too.

I love the play in tournament and I'm happy that it's here to stay. I have zero interest in an in season tournament. For what, really? I saw someone on Twitter suggest that instead of a tournament just host some games at historic courts/parks/gems around the country. That would be awesome I think. Imagine the energy at some of these places. Plus the players would take it easy anyway, the same effort they would put in a potential tournament. Who wouldn't love to see stars in those settings for a few games every year.
