Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Hours since buyout. So no point trying to get him to force a game before the break.
I expect them to use another roster spot on a center. I don't want to count on Mo BambaLast edited by illwill10; 02-10-2024, 11:22 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
I think too many got caught up with the idea of Mo Bamba, rather than the reality of Mo Bamba. If the outside shot isn't falling, Bamba is useless. He doesn't have mobility or instincts to be a consistent rim protector. He tries to rebound like he hopes he has magnets in his hands lol. Not much left on the center market, but anything is better than BambaComment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
I think he's too much of a distraction with his extracurricular activities lol. At this point, I'd take Nerlens Noel. Just want a "bigger" body who can rebound and block shots that can hold up against bigger matchups
As far as Lowry: "Lowry is shooting 40% from 3 this season, 63% of his shots attempted are 3s."
That's what I want from Lowry. If he can make nearly 40% on from 3 and not being afraid to let it fly, he'll surely help the team. As much as I liked Pat Bev, he would hesitate on open catch and shoot 3s. So as long as Lowry can a willing reliable 3pt shooter, capable playmaking, provide toughness/vet leadership, and his flopping habits that leads to charges lol, I'm alright with losing Pat Bev
It is funny that after Miami 2022 playoff series, Sixers were intent on getting "dawgs". After this deadline, all them 'dawgs' are gone lol. I think that could be a little overrated at times. You just need guys who are willing to hustle and sacrifice when the time comes for itComment

Dinwiddie throws a lot of shade for a guy that isn't that good.

“Mitch has been horrible in Charlotte” is quite a take, especially when you consider there are a lot of factors at play that can be outside their control.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic Thread
Marc Stein mentioned the possibility of this summer building around Murray and trading Trae this offseason. Those rumblings have been around for a bit, but I think its mostly speculation. I think not trading Murray was as simple as nobody giving up two 1st since he has been playing well.
