Joel might be the most dominant offensive player in the league right now. But I feel like the mobility of Bam/AD and their better off-ball traits would fit a tad better next to the other starters.

When it comes to USA Basketball, Nike always had/has significant say for the most part.

And seeing how Jaylen and Kyrie are real close share similar views off the court, I can definitely see Nike telling Grant Hill/Kerr to “err” on that one. Last thing they want is for Brown to get in front of a Microphone and start talking about “other” stuff.

Personal I'm going with. Kyrie doesn't fit with the current team. He was huge creation and I think we have enough with the current roster. We needed defense. I think Derrick White is that answer. Now do I think Jaylen could fill those need. Yes, he's a great mix of both. Going from Kawhi to a guard only suggest they wanted to get quicker and they needed a hustler type of player for this current roster. That's my take [emoji38]

Is Ant upset with his role or something? Dude is a solid defender not defending a soul out there.

Can’t lie- boy LeBron can still get buckets, lol

Kind of surprising me what he’s doing on this particular stage

Nothing like him. I still remember plenty of people saying he’d be one of those guys who once his athleticism dropped he’d be done. And the same crowd doubled down HARD once he started having the cramp and back issues in Miami. He’s basically played an entire decade since then with this stiff back upright posture, lost a ton of his athleticism, and is still more athletic than almost anybody his size. He’s a freak.

The only other really old player I can remember who every time they did something crazy we didn’t have to say “turned back the clock” because them at 50% of what they were was still more athletic than most was Vince Carter. And Bron is just so much bigger and more refined/skilled as a player than he was that he’s still so effective.

He’s just special. Seeing Kerr wow’d by him and players voting him the best player at camp at this stage in his career, and then KD’s comments on top of that, I mean what else can be said.

He’s more of a moments/spurts guy than he ever has been. But in those moments/spurts he still looks as good as anyone in the league. The game he held Kawhi scoreless, and defended Brunson late against the Knicks, he still just has those games where he does it all.

Man i thought when Steph hit that 3 and Embiid made the bunny on 2nd attempt at the end of the 3rd to put USA up 5-6 they would win by 20+ in the 4th, but South Sudan kept battling back.

Took old man: "Big Game James" to get the go ahead basket with 8 sec left.

Just wondering why D. White is getting more on ball time than Ant and Tatum?
