Re: February All Star Trade Regular Season Discussion
Embiid likely gets shut down for the season. They have a tough 5 game stretch coming u, with only 1 "winnable" game against Portland. If they go 1-4 or worse, then just shut down Paul George. If Maxey still has hand issue, then shut him down too. Keep the pick.Comment

I'm not opposed to that idea. Just don't know if they can't get off that contract. They're speculating high risk experimental surgeries. I don't expect Embiid to return to form. That knee has chronic issues, it's not as simple as "fixing it". If they can get an offer for Embiid, then they have to jump at it.
I'm all for a retool. Trade off Embiid and George. Maxey has shown he isn't a #1 player, but he's a good #2. McCain shown promise. Pie in the sky, but Cooper Flagg would be a great fit next to those two players. If we have Maxey and McCain as the backcourt, they need a Point Forward.Comment

Re: February All Star Trade Regular Season Discussion
At best, it's a bad contract for bad contract trade. Feels like the best case scenario would be that a surgery that projects him to be "healthy" by the start of next season. That's the only way I feel they could trade him and it not be a bad trade.Comment
