I'am just hoping the lakers come ready to play. They are so up and down, you never really know what you're gonna get.

A part of me just want to move on from this roster, not title material regardless of what happens in this series. i'd still like to go out in style though.

Jokic made some very tough shots in the clutch. Like the double pivot fadeaway he made with Zu all over him to take the lead or tie it at the end. Insane shot making. It's so tough to win that kind of game on the road, it really felt like their playoffs run was slipping away.

The most annoying thing about watching any Jokic game is that he should shoot like 8+ more free throws per game than he does.. in my entire lifetime of watching the NBA I feel like Jokic, LeBron, Blake Griffin, and Boogie Cousins have gotten some of the worst whistles in league history. And I think it’s because this newer era has become so guard and perimeter oriented that guys who regularly try to play through contact just aren’t rewarded enough.

I don’t mind how the game is called overall. There seems to be much more contact allowed at the rim since “verticality” rules came into place, even with the rule change rarely do I see hand checks called as fouls, and there is a ton of off ball grabbing and stuff that goes uncalled as well.. probably why todays game has the least amount of fouls and free throws of any era..

But it is super annoying to see a little head jerk, leg kick, arm flail from a small guard get rewarded and a player who tries to play on fail to get whistles. That and allowing far too many illegal and moving screens are my top biggest pet peeves with today’s game and the way it’s officiated.

Yeah. They don't want to end the game on free throws, I can see that too but it feels really unfair.

The first round games have been so good though.
