Wizards got the best opportunity sign Mike Malone.

I don't see too many NBA HC firings. A lot of the bad teams were expected to be bad, and/or has a HC that's only been there 1-2 seasons, or has an injury plagued season. Maybe Philly with Nick Nurse. Philly had an injury plagued year. But for an X&Os guy, both sides of the court weren't great when everyone was there. It's a situation where if Nurse gets fired, Morey has to go too. Morey has done a great job in draft and against the margins signings(non-vet players). But, I don't think a GM should get 3 chances to hire a HC.

I can see Pop retiring from SAS. I can definitely see Phoenix firing Bud. Other than that, no other obvious firings. If I'm New Orleans and I land the #1, I'm trading Zion and making changes.

Giannis blocked Bees at the end of the game and shimmied him.

Bees wasn't having any of it. lol

It's ok Bees taunted the Bucks bench all night. lol

Giannis went too far with the whole thing, though, no doubt.

I surprised it took that long to get a double T between them

Probably an obvious reason I'm not realizing, but why are there no games today while every team got scheduled on a Friday?

I get wanting the whole "every conference game starts at the same time" thing for tomorrow, but all games on Friday couldn't have been split between Friday and Saturday?

I also didn't realize Raptors/Spurs is the only conference vs conference game tomorrow.

I can see Thibs getting fired if the Knicks crash out against Detroit, which could happen. The defense and grit this team showed last season isn't there.

Thibs was someone else I wanted to mentioned. When you go 0-10 against the top 3 teams and you lose in the first round to a "lesser team", it would be hard for him to keep that job, especially in that market. This seems like the typical Thibs coaching cycle

Even if they beat the Pistons, they'll face Celtics in round 2. So they'll have to decide if losing to the Celtics is okay for Thibs to keep his job

This Clippers-Warriors game is everything right now!! Might end as game of the year. The effort, shot making, back and forth, everything is what basketball should be about

Yeah man, this game has been awesome. The officiating and reviews have been spot on as well. We need this consistency throughout the playoffs.

Sucha great way to finish the regular season. Warriors have to looking back at that recent Spurs lost. But, Rockets would probably be a good matchup for Warriors

The 24/25 southeast division will go down as the worst division in NBA history.

Suns fired Coach Bud. That would be 4 HCs in 4 years. Sometimes, it's not the HC lol. Beal has a No trade clause, KD is likely traded, but Booker has best trade value.

Pelicans fire GM Griffin. HC Green is safe for now. But, I wouldn't be surprised if not a new GM wouldn't want his own HC. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they don't try to blow it up. Like with Sixers and Embiid, I don't know if they want to continue to build around Zion still when he has consistent Injury and conditioning concerns. I would consider trading Zion, Mccollum, and Herb Jones has good trade value still. With some draft luck, they could have Murray-Murphy-Draft Pick-Hawkins-Missi. That's a decent starting lineup.

If i'm a good coach, I want a team with zero big-name superstar players over the age of 25. That's my rule.

I would definitely consider trading Zion. Unless he plays 70+ games next year, I don't think his value will be any better than it is now. Pelicans are in a good draft situation. They can go best player available. Anywhere in top 3 would be good choices between Flagg, Harper, and Bailey for Pelicans. I could understand wanting to keep Herb Jones, but he still could land you a good pick.
