During Raptors end of season presser it sounds like a hot mic caught "private" conversations between members of the media in attendance who were being very negative/ripping the team and some players.

Nothing has come from it yet, but if people start getting named/voice matched to whatever the mic picked up, I wouldn't be surprised if someone got fired over it.

You're allowed to say what you want, but being caught saying as negative things as some comments were about the team and players, I could see how the team could not want that person around at future press conferences again. Those sound more like social media burner account comments.

I would definitely consider trading Zion. Unless he plays 70+ games next year, I don't think his value will be any better than it is now. Pelicans are in a good draft situation. They can go best player available. Anywhere in top 3 would be good choices between Flagg, Harper, and Bailey for Pelicans. I could understand wanting to keep Herb Jones, but he still could land you a good pick.

If Dumars indeed takes that job, they're basically begging him to replicate the early 2000s Pistons. Trade injured superstar for undiscovered perfect gems

Sure, he should just have to write a 10 page essay, single space, about why he selected Darko over Carmelo, Bosh and Wade and what has he learned since that would avoid something like that ever happening again.

Thats why every damn game I hate seeing a coach use a challenge on a pointless 3rd quarter play.
Coaches need to stop listening to these players when they ask for a challenge
