Good breakdown of the 5 second inbound non-play from last night's game:

Miami making light work of Chicago

Which means OKC gets Miami's first round pick this year if Miami beats ATL

Doesn't Memphis also get to keep their 1st if they miss the playoffs (from the smart trade) ?

In that case, I rather keep the pick if I'm Memphis

I would tank the game tonight and get the pick as Memphis isn't going anywhere and has no chance of beating OKC in the 1st round.

Miami is in the same boat. They lose and they could potentially keep their pick. Could Miami steal a game or two? Yeah, but Miami could use another lottery talent.

I'm waiting for the real playoffs to start tomorrow. This play-in mess doesn't interest me at all, lol

The second portion under "Washington would receive..." is that only if Memphis wins?

So Washington either gets a late 1st or 2 seconds?

Yeah it seems like it is the type of trade that is lottery protected. If it doesn't fall outside of the lottery, it converts to two 2nds

                        Great game.

In theory, I shouldn't have access to TNT. But, I noticed a long time ago that if you cast the Free Preview to your TV, it won't shut off the free Preview after the time expires

Mitchell is having his night when it matters the most

I always liked Mitchell coming out of Baylor.

Miami likely loses their first round pick to OKC

Bittersweet ending for ATL. Tough way to end the season. But, future looks bright. Solid starting lienup when healthy with Mann and Levert off the bench. They need a little more depth. They need a backup PG and Center and they could be a playoff team next year

I only got to see overtime basically, but I’m not crying over Atlanta not making the playoffs. I guess the big topic now is if Trae gets an extension or the trade rumors start back. I expect them them run it back and hopefully we get The kings pick which comes down to this last game and maybe a coin toss in
