And how many of these guys has missed sizable time in this series....?

      Wade... 1 game.

I'm so sick of everyone talking about how injured the Heat are. They're HURT... you can play HURT... you can't play INJURED. But, guess what, everyone is hurt at this point in the season. Suck it up!

Pistons got lucky as hell last night. I thought Wade should've been in the game.. Diminish his role some, but Wade on the floor is still a threat, You don't let a team like Detroit have a chance with a game 7. Now the Pistons are going to be the favorites and will probably win.

Doesn't matter, though. Whoever wins will get their clocks cleaned by San Antonio.

Wade should have made that call to play. No one is 100% at this point in the series. It isn't like the Heat get to call someone up from the minors to replace him for one game, it wouldn't hurt to have him suited up to go in so Tayshaun can at least guard him. Even for a few possesions, but I'm sure the powers that be thought it would hurt the team.

It's bad coaching to pull Wade. You have your foot on Detroit's throat and you let them up. They played like they knew they had the Game 7 safety net.

If Detroit got lucky about anything, it's that Stan Van Hedgehog is not their coach.

I would pull Wade only if I know that injury is a the point where he can't give you much plus there is a good chance that he could injury it worse and put him out for the rest of the playoffs.

Yeah, Im glad Wade didnt play last night, he really had no need to play. The ball was in the Pistons court, and they held. Good for them, but now the Heat have the ball, and they are gonna be at full strength hopefully...

The Pistons matchup much better with the Spurs than the Suns did.

Billups vs. Parker is pretty even, Parker with the speed advantage, Billups with the strength and shooting advantage

Prince will guard Ginobli, and will try to make him a jumpshooter, whether it works or not, is to be seen

Rip will be saved by guarding Bowen, rest up for the track meet that will be Bowen guarding Rip

Rasheed will probably guard Duncan, Duncan will get his on the offensive end, but has to worry about being taken outside of the paint by Rasheed because of his 3pt ability

Ben will guard Mohammed, I think we know how that is going to pan out

So its not a slam dunk as you would think.

I'll take San Antonio's bench, but hey, you never know.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

                      A couple interesting stats...

The Pistons are 3-3 all time in Game 7s....but 0-3 on the road.

The last three defending champions that have played in a Game 7 (1995 Rockets, 1998 Bulls, 2002 Lakers) all won, including two of them on the road (Rockets ad Lakers).

If the Pistons are having problems with the Heat, who has no offense besides Wade and Shaq, then they will have a serious problem with the Spurs. They can play you whichever way you want, but nothing will take away their defense and clutch shooting. I'm sorry, but I see a no contest.

Spurs have much more talent than the Lakers did last year. Also, minus the in-team power struggles.

Here's why I feel the Pistons will win game 7. In game 5, the Heat needed Damon Jones, Udonis Haslem, and Rasual Butler to get 41 points to win, because Wade only had 15. Even though they will play better than they did in game 6, because they are at home, I do not believe that they will play well enough to close out the Pistons. The Pistons are 9-0 in their last 9 tries when they've had the chance to close out a series, and I'm not sure that Butler, Jones, and Haslem are quite ready for the intensity that they are about to face. If those 3 do not combine for more than 30 pts, the Heat will lose.

If the Pistons play like they need to play, with hustle and energy, they can beat any team in the NBA, period. They are too long and too athetic to make it a "no-contest" if they play how they need to play. The Pistons have an overall faster team than the Spurs, they have better shot blocking, and they have better 3pt shooting. This does not equal a no contest.

P.S. The Spurs have added Mohammed and Barry to a team that was not good enough to beat last year's Lakers. They have a better team than last year, but the Pistons pimpslapped the team that beat the Spurs last year, and the Pistons are about the same team (I'm saying the depth off the bench they miss from last year is evened out by the better offensive production). The Spurs may win, but it surely won't be a Suns-like demolishing.

Not saying the Pistons will crumble into a smelly heap, but when San Antonio is on their game, they are unbeatable. Too clutch. Too good on defense. And have the best player in basketball.

And let's not forget the Lakers had a miracle happen with the 0.4 second shot by Fisher.
