You know, just looking at numbers, I think that Amare's progression mirrors Karl Malone's (arguably the greatest PF of all time) more than it does Shawn Kemp. Truthfully, I haven't read thru this entire thread, so I don't really know what was discussed, but like I said, just looking at numbers.

Other than assists, steals and TOs, Amare is a lot closer to Malone than Kemp. I don't know if this is a fair comparison, since everyone's situation is different, but that's what I see. It's amazing to me tho that Kemp's career high in ppg for a season is 20.5 ppg.
