It's all good, they aren't doing that bad w/o Mr. Big Shot. When he returns all will be better. I hope.Comment

Re: ***Official Detroit Pistons 2006-07 Thread***
So Piston fans, what do you all think of the possibility of bringing C-Webb into the fold?
I personally wouldn't mind it, provided that:
A) C-Webb realizes he is no longer the man, he will probably be coming off the bench, and a championship is the goal, not personal glory
B) Rasheediot doesn't bitch about touches, playing time, etc. (he seemed pretty cool about not starting recently...who knows how long that lasts)
If those work out, then I'm all for getting Webber...it'd definitely be weird to cheer for him though...Comment

The press conference officially announcing Chris Webber joining the Pistons is set to be at 4pm ET.
Though not confirmed yet, it's being reported that C-Webb will wear jersey #84. And he is expected to play against Utah tomorrow night.

Heh, Rasheed Wallace flipped on ESPN's Chris Sheridan a day after Sheridan had posted an article claiming Sheed and coach Flip Saunders hate each other.
There is an interesting rumor floating out there that has Nazr Mohammed going to Golden State for one of their swingmen: Jason Richardson, Mickeal Pietrus or Stephen Jackson. Out of those three I hope it's for Pietrus. J-Rich's contract is too large. And as for why not Jackson, I'm pretty sure no further explanation is needed.
And Chris Webber is set to start tonight against the Timberwolves.

I'm being 110% serious when I say this.
If they trade for Stephen Jackson, I am done being a Pistons fan until he's gone.
Also...while I'm sure Rasheed yelling at an ESPN guy was comical, and I doubt Rasheed "hates" Flip...they definitely have things to work on.Last edited by Psyblast; 01-19-2007, 05:08 PM.Comment

Wow, HoopsWorld is reporting that the Rockets have a standing Bonzi Wells-for-Nazr Mohammed offer waiting on the table for the Pistons.
Hmmm... there might not be many deals coming around for Nazr that'll be better than this one. Especially when we can get a guy like Bonzi in return. If this proposal is indeed legit, then Joe D has got to make it happen.
