No, we do not. However, he'd make more money in a S&T so he'd probably be open to it.

His options are also slim right now, the Nets and Knicks are the only teams left that can sign him I believe. He's interested in the Wolves but they only have $7m in cap space. Boozer signed with Chicago so they're obviously out.

I thought David wanted to remain in the NY Area since he's such a huge fan favorite there. Is that still the case with him or is he just content with going anywhere at this point?

        Miller
        Gallo
        Randolph
        Amare

Donnie talked about being ready to execute the plan they've laid-out no matter what LBJ decision is. He wouldn't get into detail about players & names, but did say they are looking to bring players in that fit D'Antoni's system.

If LBJ doesn't come & we can get Randolph, Buke & Turiaf for Lee along with a Felton/Miller signing. Without killing the CAP & still having Curry as a CHIP then I'll be very happy.

Also word is Amar'e deal might be a S&T for a TPE with the Knicks getting a 2nd rd pick in the deal & a savings of $800,000 towards this years CAP as Amar'e stating salary would lower in the 1st year

Small note but the draft night trade from the Bucks for Jerome Jordan officially went through tonight. I watched a few of his games in college, not sure he'll even make our roster.

It would be for a Trade Player Exception of around 16.5 million with Phoenix sending us a 2nd rd pick. It also would save the Knicks almost 1 million towards the CAP as Amar'e starting salary would be lower in the 1st year than if we just signed him outright

We'll Lebron punked-out, but I'm really liking the moves we've made so far. We got Younger, Longer & didn't have to sacrifice much CAP Space to do it. Now we need a PG. I personally want Shaun Livingston. He would be perfect for D'Antoni's system who's a great passer. Played really well for the Wizards towards the end of the season. Another Low-Risk High-Reward player.

Plus he's only 24 yrs old.

I don't think Livingston is anywhere near quick/athletic enough for our system. I like Ridnour, I'm fine if we wrap him up.

I'm glad we were able to get this Lee S&T pushed through immediately tonight. LOVE the move, another positive step for us.

This is what Lamar Odom says about Anthony Randolph:

"It's like looking in the mirror a little. He's 6'11." He's left-handed, and he can put the ball on the floor. He's two times as athletic as I was at that age. If he stays focused, the sky is the limit for him.
Pretty good testimony. Hopefully he can keep his head on straight, this kid has some real talent.

No shocker here, he was afraid of Chicago and Cleveland too...

Source: LeBron Was Afraid Of New York

LeBron James didn't feel comfortable coming to play for the Knicks, a source told the New York Post.

James was afraid of New York's bright lights and the intense nature of the media, the source claims.

Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni hinted that might be the case on Thursday.

"I think I was attracted to a lot of cities," James told Michael Wilbon after his decision as he sidestepped a question about New York.

"I was attracted to a lot of cities, but it came down to where I can win and where my family would be happy."

The Health Concerns are very real. He's been sick since joining the Knicks. Had a piece of his tongue cut out due to Cancer. Now this surgery which has him in a wheel-chair.

If he chooses to retire, I wouldn't be mad @ him. He came here with 1 purpose in mind. To get this franchise under the Salary CAP so we can be players in FA again. Mission Accomplished.

Here's hoping if he does retire he has a BIG say in who his successor will be. Kevin Pritchard is a nice possibility, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dolan offers the job to Allan Houston & ask Walsh to stay on as an advisor

Oh I know the health concerns are real. But if that was the main reason for him to retire, I don't think the article would have even mentioned "not getting LeBron James". This has Dolan written all over it.
