3) If the offense is run through Lin, Melo won't have the ball in his hands to stagger the offense. Is this a good or bad thing? Does Melo get upset when he's not the focal point anymore, even if they are winning? For all the hate on D'Antoni, THIS is how his offense wins games, not with Melo being a black hole.

That's what I'm worried about most, Pared. Amar'e will flourish with Lin, but I don't know about Carmelo. It's on Pringles to get Carmelo to see the light.

**** Carmelo if he wants to ruin what we have right now. These last 3 games were the best Knick games of the year. Why?
Because there's ball movement.
Because the pick and roll is finally back!
Because our offense is flourishing! No more sucky idiotic stagnant offensive possessions.
Chandler is beasting and really providing that interior presence we need.
No more Toney Douglas!! I can't stress this enough. This dude was turning the ball over and chucking at an outrageous pace.
Steve Novak! Why wasn't this dude given more playing time? Guy can give you 19 points in like 12 mins. lol Best outside shooter on the knicks.
And of course JEREMY LIN! We finally have someone that can take care of the basketball and make smart decisions. Dude is all heart. We went from being one of the dumbest bball IQ teams in the league to one of the best. Definitely reminds me of Steve Nash without the outside shot but much better defense. Baron Davis can come back and play back-up, I don't see him starting over Lin.

I can answer the Novak question easily with 2 words...Josh Harrellson (whom I love actually). We all know Pringles likes to keep a tight rotation of 8. That may have to change soon though....

Most points scored in the first three starts of an NBA career. Lin now owns that stat.

Took the first real challenge of his career, against a big defense, and scored 38.

Outplays Kobe Bryant and leads his team to victory.

How does this happen? How?

And the more he plays, the more I just can't see how you really stop him without getting burned. Teams are already doubling him at the halfcourt line. At the halfcourt line.

If Melo can embrace and STAT keeps moving, I don't know how this team isn't one of the elite teams in the East with this man running point.

I ain't gonna lie, I'm eating some crow right now. You can find me a few pages back saying that he's horrible and needs to go to the DLeague after I first saw him against Sacto (well, he did go to the D-League and dropped a triple double). But he was particularly bad at that night.

No, don't eat that crow. Remember, we are seeing him without Melo. I think he comes down to earth once we have Stat and Melo back. Anthony demands the ball too much (he won't be a spot up shooter) and Stat seems lost if he isn't the Roll guy... which Lin seems to like working with Chandler.

I wonder if Stat would be a little jealous.

The more successful this is, the more Stat becomes trade bait for a good quality SG IMO.

Lin still needs to be less careless with the ball.

He's not this good, but I can see him being a contributor. This still doesn't change the fact that 'Melo is not a Pringles' system type of player. On top of that, 'Melo is top good to not have the ball every other possession, at least.

He's a great story, but I want to see him protect the ball more.

Defense hurting them. But the Wolves are just one of those teams that needs to figure it out because they have the talent to be one of the elite teams in the league. Inside guys. Outside guys. Defense. Offense.

Lin still doing his thing. Getting guys involved. But he can't stop the big men from abusing the Knicks front court. That's why you don't trade Stoudemire.

But to what you said cmh, that's so true about stat.

I'm not for getting rid of melo. I may be alone but saying he won't adapt I don't see it.

He seemed like a ball hog but we had no pg and the team as a whole couldn't shoot. He's still going to get his touches. I mean, that's the whole point to a good ball general.

I think melo is just wanting to win at this point in his career. Melo had been making that extra pass too before his injury. Lin won't be going for 28+PPG when teams are now mentioning his name in their scouting report.

And the same way we boo melo when he shoots too much, Lin will soon get that treatment with turnovers.

Shumperts offense has been looking good though, huh? 3!!!
