Landry was a 4-year collegiate player.

2 years at the pro level.

What has he shown that he can be a consistent player in this league?

This was the same idiotic decision that they made to pick up the Douglas option when he was in the dog house.

Makes no sense...besides the depth issue.

Yeah Landry can be bone headed sometimes but he hustles. Last week he worked with coach woodson on his game & hopefully he continues working on his game over the summer.

The Toney Douglas option I agree on. Maybe he'll be traded for a pick tomorrow night

This shouldn't be hard for him. All he needs is a turnaround jumper and some fakes or up and unders. He doesn't need to be the dream, just back people down and use his soft touch around the rim.

I like the part especially where it explains how it would make our offense more structured, and guys would spend less time standing around. Amar'e could post guys up, and wait for the ball as opposed to sitting down at the three point line while Melo shoots a contested jumper. I think it will be a great thing if he can take something away from it and use it. Can't hurt, that's for sure.

Also, if the Dream can get it in his head that defense and rebounding actually are MORE important than scoring, he could come out of this a new player. But, that's beyond a wish

Re: The 2012 New York Knicks: The Filler Year?

Alright fellas...here's my Knicks draft board (as if my opinion really matters )

                1. Quincy Acy (surprise)
                2. Kim English
                3. Kyle O'Quinn
                4. Kevin Murphy
                5. Scott Machado

Yes, Acy is #1 on my board. Huge indictment of our resident knucklehead Mr. "The Knicks Are Back" Stoudemire.

An athletic big (Acy is only 6'7 in shoes) but he plays above the rim and I saw what Faried did last year and I'm still drooling. High energy guy.

I know the Knicks will disappoint me and take a 6'2 guy but I can only hope.

Since there's a snowball's chance in hell that whoever we draft will be NBA-worthy I wouldn't mind taking a shot at Acy though it might make more sense to pursue him after the draft since it doesn't sound like anyone will take him.

DJ-O is a nice player, he's a tough dude and I like his game. I'd be happy with him. I'd rather take a shot on him than Machado personally.

Definitely a stash pick. Hopefully Merchado, Kevin Jones & some other undrafted FA's get Summer League invites. Really looks like we will fill need via FA..

Man Sunday can't get here soon enough

League to drop the appeal. We win! Now to see who we can get in free agency.
