The Heat are just too good.

Not upset about this one. The cohesion on both ends of the court from the Heat is where I'd like to see the Knicks some day.

Miami wanted to send a message and they did, big time. They're clearly the best team in the NBA.

Knicks are now a target. Other teams are probably sick of Linsanity, and they'll want to send a message too(like Deron Williams). The league has gone to school on Lin, and he has to adjust. The schedule is brutal after All-Star weekend. We'll see what the Knicks are made of.

Man Lin ran into a buzzsaw last night. Pressuring him full court like this is a college game from the 90's.

He looked dreadful but hopefully he had the chance to learn a lot from the experience. The Heat brought playoff-like defense last night, gotta say it's damn impressive to watch.

I absolutely hate flopping but the Heat were running at him so aggressively off the PnR that he has to learn to draw a foul on those. Miami was wildly aggressive last night and Lin has to learn to use that aggressiveness against them, just like Dallas did last June.

I'm not upset at all. Lin is a young player and this was a great learning experience for him. It's laughable that he would need to be defended, as if he's a fluke. I love the effort the Knicks put out and they will only get better as they continue to gel as a unit. I'm glad we're at the AS break so the hype can simmer down some. Time to rest up, get some practice time in, and get ready for the second half.

Man. I think that was the first time Lin was scared to do anything. He was shell-shocked. It all happens to us. The realization that "These guys are bigger, faster, and stronger than me". It hit him hard.

Frankly the only PG's capable of handling that pressure are the elites like Paul, Deron, Nash, Rondo, Rose, and Westbrook. I feel like Westbrook would be the only one to really thrive on that type of pressure though. Simply because he has Durant and Harden. Lebron's not going to be checking him like he would Rose.

I loved last nights game. You think Miami would try something like that with Kyrie?

Stat looked really good early. We just didn't have enough in the tank in the second half. Nothing you can do - it was a good game all around.

But this team. can. beat. them. Bosh isn't that consistent and if he doesn't have the game he did, we pull that one out.

I really don't know why everyone sleesp on Bosh. It's his queit 20 points that put the Heat over the hump.

But this knicks team...when Shumpert gets back and brings back that defensive and scrappy mentality...this team can beat anyone. They have crazy depth right now. It seems like JR is bringing that energy right now off the bench in terms of offense. He had a couple of nice hustle plays.

Is it okay if I post here even though I'm a Kings fan? Once I saw Shumpert play I became a fan of the Knicks. Not because of Amare, Melo, or Lin, but Shumpert.

Yeah, Bosh is the key for Miami. I don't care what anyone says. Let Wade and LBJ drop their 60 - just don't let Bosh get 20+.

Amar'e's only taken 15 shots in the last two games combined. He needs to be involved in the P&R more, especially if teams are going to continue to try to trap Lin. And it's one thing that he looks like he's lost all his lift, but he's shooting his lowest percentage from mid-range in 6 years.

I've also been impressed with JR Smith's defense. He's been active and competitive on that end getting steals and drawing charges.

Clearly Lin looked shook last night. I wonder if he though Wade would be guarding him out the gate & prepared for Wade instead of Chalmers.

2nd chance points really hurt us in the 2nd half. Not to mention Heat shots going in with less than 5 sec left on the shot clock.

Those plays are deflating & it kind of showed in our body language also in the 2nd half.

Our offense still doesn't look free flowing. Hopefully the AS Break & the off days afterwards will allow for practice time so we can get to like the commercial says "Gellin"

How awkward was the last 24 seconds of that game? Wade trying to up the score then jr smith trying to score where you would usually see nothing? It wasnt talked about. I thought it was beat

Did STAT have surgery on both knees?? Unless he injured his knees in the offseason I just don't see how it could be the reason for his lack of ups. He had explosiveness up until his back injury in the playoffs and since hasn't played.
So how could his knees be shot?
