This is soooooooooo refreshing to watch. Our DEFENSE is creating our Offense.
4 straight Double Digit Wins. I believe we've held every opponent in this winning streak under 90.
We're also Rebounding the ball very well. Tonight we had 16 Offensive Rebounds while only giving up 4, out-rebounding the Raptors 46-30

It would have been under 90 but the Pacers scored 42 in the 4th using their starters against the B Squad in their 115-100 loss.

Hey so where does everyone see the Knicks going now that Woodson has taken over? I only go the watch end of the 3rd, and all of 4th quarter yesterday and I saw nice D, comradery, etc but how far will that take them with this roster?Comment

They definitely are though the post game team did ask why it had to take D'Antoni leaving the post for that to happen.
It seems they tried to avoid the obvious (I'm not sure how much power Dolan has over post game comments) which is: they didn't want to play for D'Antoni.
And it wasn't just Anthony.

Anthony admitting that he's playing harder on defense now than he has all year is a little alarming but there is no doubt he is playing great. His shot is still not falling but in the past that would mean he was invisible for the game. Not anymore - he's been playing great D, hitting the boards and moving the ball well.
This has been a season of starts and stops. Let's hope this is the way they play the rest of the year.Comment

I think it really is that simple that Pringles never held anyone accountable. Screaming at Toney Douglas isn't going to fool anyone into thinking you run a tight ship.

I had a long discussion with a friend that believes D'Antoni wasn't the problem and he kept insisting that D'Antoni wanted to hold guys accountable and upper management wouldn't allow it.
I had to ask him to show proof because there was never any indication that D'Antoni wasn't being allowed to run the team his way.
Yes Anthony quit on him and we both eventually agreed that he shouldn't be absolved of that but till this day he believes D'Antoni wasn't allowed to run his ship.
We've seen it. D'Antoni never held anyone accountable. He had that one moment when he benched Anthony and Stoudemire but it seemed forced.

Exactly we were talking about this a few pages back. We couldn't understand how D'antoni could let all those issues happen without getting upset or holding these players accountable. The guy was just collecting a check, and i'm glad the players quit on him and he resigned.
He is absolutely the worst coach to have going into a playoff series.
Woodson is awesome. He gets in your face when he sees an issue and then gives you a high five a few minutes later. Thats how it should be. It's nothing personal, he's just trying to get the most out of his players and minimize mistakes. You know... coaching.
Stat is actually playing some defense out there. lol. There is one thing i still dont like. Stat still sets crappy picks. Its an improvement but still not where we need it to be.

If the Knicks beat the Sixers by double digits then they are truly where they should be.
Not expecting them to beat the Bulls or Heat in a 7-game series but I do think they should be able to play with the Magic and Hawks.

Dantoni failed to utilize the strength of this team. I think players seen what talent they have and were just upset that dantoni failed to utilize that talent.
I just get mad at dude during post game, or pre game interviews. I remember when they were playing OKC and they asked what their game plan was for KD and he laughed and said "We have a game plan?"
And after losses it was like "We scored 94, they scored 106... If we outscore them we walk away winners."
Yeah, no **** dick head. Lin was his lifeline and he rode him hard. I was waiting for a Lin injury with all the minutes he was putting on that kid.5Comment
