Anthony and Stat are NOT untouchable. In fact these guys should be playing their asses off, if they want to stay here in NY.

We can win Basketball games without them, Lin has proved it. In fact we might be a better team without them on the court.

Against weak teams, yes. But the Knicks don't have a chance against the NBA's best without our stars playing at the top of their game.

As for Pringles, we all know he's toast if the Knicks do an el-foldo. Without Walsh, no one has his back at MSG, and Carmelo's not his type of player. IMO, he'd probably be relieved getting fired and leaving this hot mess behind.

Jennings, Holiday and Derrick Rose - should be a fun next few days.

The thing is, with Melo and Amare, we lose to the weaker teams. I'd rather win against the weak teams than lose against them.

Couple changes in the lineup tonight. We started JR Smith at the 2 and played Lin and BDiddy in the backcourt at the same time. I like having both of them in there, our tempo is faster and both play unselfishly. Davis has 5 assists, Lin has 8 in the first half. I'm pretty sure all of Amar'e's makes have been dunks.

          Amar'e wasn't kidding I guess.

I couldn't watch the game and outside of being down 15 at some point, it sounds to me that the Knicks played well and just lost a good game.

It is clear to me, either Melo or Dantoni have to go. They just do not mix well, and we all knew this.

The offense he wants to run and the type of offense Melo thrives in, are on different sides of the spectrum.

If they keep Dantoni over Melo, so help me God...

Pringles is a dead-man-walking, believe me.

Friday night was a disgraceful performance. Knicks got killed on the offensive glass and the defense was pitiful. All this so-called 'talent' and the Knicks got outworked by Drew Gooden & Ersan Ilyasova. Davis taunting the Bucks sideline when the Knicks were losing, Smith sulking - this team is a f-n joke, including Pringles. It's not working with him & Carmelo. Get a new coach who can figure out how to fit Anthony in this offense. Anyone who thinks this team is finishing higher than 8th needs a reality check. It's going to be another year without a playoff win.

Offensively we played well. Defensively we were disgraceful. It was apparent we missed Chandler and Jeffries. We couldn't get stops when we needed to and when we did, we couldn't get rebounds. But we did play much faster that game, it look like last years Knicks as opposed to half-court style we've been in most of this season.

I think they both need to go.

If I had to pick only one to get rid of, it'd be Melo.

For all of the Melo fans, what is it that you guys see in him when you watch these games? Because what I see night after night is horrible shot selection, little to no defensive effort, and an I-don't-give-a-**** attitude when we lose. That's the polar opposite from what I want from our so called "best player".

Thing is, Melo wasn't always like that. In Syracuse and during good years in Denver, he was a hard worker. I remember at one point, people legitimately asked if he was better than LeBron and unbiased fans could see the argument.

But it seems when he's in a bad situation he mopes or doesn't put in the complete effort. Not saying this is acceptable but if the team were playing well, we wouldn't be asking about Melo's hustle. It would be there.

I guess the question is, are the Knicks losing because he's not putting in that effort and if so, is that the coach's fault or only his?

I think both sides are to blame. The "stars" aren't stepping up and Pringles is doing a lousy job of adjusting his system to the talent.

Fifth loss in a row - tomorrow in Chicago will be the sixth.

This team seems to have given up on the coach. This coach doesn't seem to know what he's doing. He can't find a rotation & stick to it. He has no clue when to call a TO to stop a run.

Just seems like we're going thru the motions out there

This is on the coach, coach coach and coach. Melo is partly to blame but this falls on the coach.
This guy is a joke, take him away please.

I think the Knicks finally need a official offense. Official coach. Official defense.

I think the Knicks would work better as a half court team.
