I think Hatton could beat Mayweather. He's like a bulldozer, and Floyd couldn't hurt him like he did Gatti. Tsu beat the hell out of him, but he just kept coming.

It was a boxing clinic Somiss. Even if your a fan or not you have to appreciate the skill.

I don't think so, Hatten isn't that good now. "Speed kills", and Hatten is just like Gatti, he has no speed, and I can very easly see Flyod doing the same thing to hatten he did too Gatti. Hatten is also very dirty in my book.

I give Hatton a chance if its in Manchester, but if its in the United States, I dont think he'll have any chance.

This fight could be on the moon and Hatton would get killed. I bet he and Cotto were sweating bullets. If they want any recognition in their division now, they will have to see Floyd.

Of course not. I was just pointing out that even though PBF was humiliating Gatti that the "warrior" in him still wouldn't leave him. He wanted to still go out there and hopefully land that one punch (even though that would never happen).

Re: Mayweather vs. Gatti: June 25

That was an absolute clinic. Completely one-sided. It was extremely hard to watch as I felt this was the fight of the year (leading up to it) and I was pulling SO hard for Gatti.

First off, that referee is a complete a-hole and he should never be allowed to ref a championship fight. To me what he did in the first had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome (PBF outclassed Gatti), but he made some of the dumbest things as a ref that I've seen.

PBF is the best pound for pound boxer in any weight class out right now. Hands down. I absolutely despised him for his pre-fight comments but he completely backed up the talk. Gatti couldn't even get one shot off on him. Not one. It didn't even look like he had an ounce of swelling after 6 rounds. Gatti disappointed me. For all the wars he was in, he was so hesistant. I think PBF has alot more power than people give him credit for. You could hear the shots coming off Gatti's face. And his speed is unmatched.

He will absolutely KILL Hatton. Manchester or wherever. He'll murder him. That pushing WWF style won't work as PBF will just pick him apart. I think his reach is just too much and his fighting stance is one where you can't really touch him like you'd like to as he cocks his body to the side and protects his chin.

I'm a believer now. Still hate PBF's guts but he put on a show. I think Cotto's height might give him some trouble but Cotto needs at least 2 more fights before he sees PBF.

And I don't think boxing needs a villian and a hero. They need boxers to put on a good show for the consumers. His talk rubs viewers the wrong way. And it's widely known that PBF can't sell out an arena on his own. I have no problem with the flash (think Cory Spinks) or the braggadocious (Toney, Hamed, etc.). But I just don't like seeing boxers disrespect each others past accomplishments prior to a fight. I don't think that's good for the sport. Just my 2 cents.

LOL also didnt notice Gatti shove the referee and say "thats f'n bs, and you know it" either. lol

also on a side note, anyone else notice Gatti almost crap his pants in the begining of his enterence when his pyro went off.
LOL!! I actually jumped b/c Gatti jumped. He looked like he got shot or something. And the ref, that guy CLEARLY yelled Break. But he didn't get between them like he should have. Gatti cursed him out something bad.

And LMAO @that Mussa guy or whatever his name was that dropped Vivian and punched him in the back of the head after he was down. That guy has heart and a funny fighting stance. I knew he'd eventually win. His eye was closed up from the first round when Vivian tried to take his head off.

See if Boxing had a federation/commission to oversea things, then Boxers wouldnt need to sell fights. But the fact that boxing is so corrupt and they sell them as shows rather than the science it is. If there was a universal ranking system a guy could work his way to a belt. They only reason Gatti took this fight b/c people were saying Floyd was better and Floyd was saying he was. The said last night that Gatti's camp did NOT want the fight and if they had their way, it would have never happend. Had Floyd not called him out, we would have say Gatti vs Glass Joe or something.

Mussa got his eye closed on the second punch of the fight...that's gotta be a record or something. If he didn't knock out Vivian, I think Emmanuel was going to choke him out in between rounds. Too bad too, he looked like he had a real nice jab and could have disposed of this guy pretty easily. Mussa's intentional headbutt that spanned half the ring and the right hand through the ropes to Vivian on his stomach was absolutely pathetic; I hope this guy gets dropped hard in his next fight.

Man Vivian looked waaaaay out there. If you have ever seen him fight, you know that he doesnt fight like that. He is extremely talented but you can tell he was out there trying to excite the crowd. At least he was smart enough to force a mandatory rematch.
