Well, when there is only 1 boxing game on the market to chose from and there are a few little things they could do to make the game better and they just won't listen......It gets frustrating.

And I'm still not sure why OS compiles a wishlist or Q&A for Kudo. He doesn't listen to one freakin' thing we ask for and he lies when answering the questions. What's the point?
All of that adds up to the point where people like myself get angry over a stupid fast food character being added in. It's a slap in the face to people who only want a real representation of a sport they follow and love.

I would really love to see the reaction if the Koolaid Man was seen floating on the sidelines calling in plays on Madden. You'd have to add an extra server for all the flaming that would be going on.

And thanks for the tips Ryan97. I'll sleep better tonight knowing how ignorant I am when it comes to how games are created. I couldn't give two craps and a monkey piss. All I know is, I'm expected to throw down $60+ for a game that has major holes but does include a plastic king who gives out hamburgers. They are delicious, mind you, but unless my Xbox can spit out a whopper I don't need to see it.

Not only did EA sell out to Burger King but in the career mode you can pick the freaky big headed Burger King dude from the commercials as a trainer to escort you to the ring.... No I am not kidding. So 60 bucks for this game is not enough EA? Kudo needs his *** fired for this kinda crap.. This is just disgusting..

I remember Kudo saying what an embarrassment Big Tigger was for FN rd 1 and now this?

Here is my point: They arent selling the game to you. You arent in their target demo (neither is fistofrage). If you read the impressions thread you will see that 80% (maybe more) of the people who bought this game seem to be satisfied. The majority of them arent boxing freaks like you or me. They are gamers who like boxing but arent huge fans. They have probably never watched a Barrera or Morales fight and couldnt tell you who half of the fighters in this game are. They are casual fans and thats who EA markets to.

So why get frustrated? You know what to expect when Fight Night comes out. An arcade game with some sim aspects to it. Also nobody is forcing you or expects you to buy the game. If you dont want it dont buy it.

With that said, I agree with you to a point. I would love to see this game become more sim or at least add some sliders so that we could make it this way. But I find it a waste of energy to get upset about the Burger King appearing in the game or the fact that Ali comes to the ring to rap music.

And aholbert32 I understand what you're saying. But am I the only that is trying to keep Kudo accountable for the lies he spewed out on the Q&A? The way he talked up so many of the features I was getting the impression that I would be seeing a game that I would enjoy. But, unfortunately, that's not the case.

But you're right. I should stop getting upset. If they're targeting people that wouldn't know the difference between Joe Frazier and Fraser Crane then I guess they've hit their target audience.
I guess I should stop having any input on the wishlist or bother to jot down any of my complaints towards this game. It's obvious they're falling on deaf ears.

2K Sports' College Hoops has had Burger King marketing built into it for the last couple years. Remember "Have it your way" roster management? Ugh.

I remember that. I agree though, advertising isn't going to go away. But I think having the King as a trainer is a bit much. Let the advertising be on the ring, the rafters, the signposts, whatever. Just nothing that... stupid.

I didn't get that far but it can't be worse than NBA 2K6 where you're FORCED to sit through "and now the Powerbar Triple Threat replay" with the logo screen EVERYTIME there's a replay and you can skip the replay but not the screen.

Obviously you haven't been reading the entire thread or the Impressions thread. Having a rediculous mascot is like the last straw that broke the camel's back.
It's a pile of things that make me angry with the direction Kudo has taken this series.

And VB2 doesn't have the 'real' pros but the gameplay and certainly the incredibly deep career mode make it a much more realistic portrayal of the sport.

Victorious Boxers 2 and it's on PS2. There's also Love Upper wich apprently has good boxing with girls in skimpy outfits.
