I agree. Tequilla was insinuating that anyone who was really sore was out of shape because he works out all the time and wouldn't have been that sore. There was no mistaking his intentions with that post.

If anyone doubts Money's workout regimen, I'd love to see you get in the gym while he kicks your *** at every workout station you hit. He's also run a half marathon and knows what he's talking about.

Brian, I never want to see Brett again! You could see the pure joy on his face while he kicked our butts for an hour.

totalownership, I understand what you're saying. I'm sure I'd be exhausted and sore if I joined an NFL team for one day of training camp. Those guys aren't joking around either.

But I think out of all the sports to train for, boxing has to be the worst. Like Darxide said, not only are you busting tail all day long, but then you're starving yourself to make weight, getting beaten up every day in the ring and then get to do that every day, for 6 weeks straight before a big bout.

Wepeeler, I think we'll continue this little grudge match online when the game releases.
But you're not allowed to DVR it and put funny music to all my losses!
The last thing I need is to watch several of my KO defeats on Youtube while you dub in Christian Bale's audio rant in the background; "Oooooooooh! Good for you!!!!"

I hope I get to come up to EAC again I want one round with that trainer...lol! He stayed on me. I haven't felt like that since I first started boxing at 17.

... my two trainers(my brother and uncle) used to say there's being in shape and then there's being in condition. My brother said you can walk around in shape, but you have to go through another level to be in condition...I'm not on either level right now....

I understand your soreness, I mean if your not the type of person that regular visits the gyms and go one day and lift weights real hard, do crunches, triangle push ups, you will be sore for days maybe even a whole entire week. I live here in Kansas City, MO where we have a few casinos and we've even hosted a few Friday Night Fights on ESPN. My buddy that boxes took be to the gym, so I can see what goes on and I did a few things like myself, but even before I went out there I go to a gym to work out (like a 24 fitness) I've been in the gym straight for 2 years. I go 4 to 5 days a week, but me and a couple of other cats were at the boxing gym and these 2 guys that were my boxing friend friends were sore for a whole week, because they weren't in the gym regularly. I myself was just barely a little sore the next day, with the exception of the medicine ball to the stomach which was sore about 3 days. All I'm say is any part of you body that you don't push to the limit and don't do it on the regular and then get out there and do so, you will be sore and tender

I'm really starting to move away from video games it seems, I haven't really enjoyed them as much as I have in the past. I'm hoping Fight Night can sort of pull me back into them though because I have had some great times with this series, particulary the first Fight Night, and Knockout Kings before that.

Can't wait to hear more info as soon as you guys can talk about it.

I'm in the exact same boat. I barely play much anymore.
Before I bought The Show on Tuesday, I probably averaged 2 hours of video games a week.
I usually only play hockey or baseball games, but they start to get boring after a time too.

But after playing FNRd4, I know I'll be putting in long hours with that game. Especially with Legacy Mode.

Thats what I want to hear! I'm really interested in hearing more about this Legacy Mode, seems like EA finally got a clue regarding career mode and made it exciting.

This game was always fun in two-player mode, but career mode got way too easy and boring too quick.

I'm going to go w/ muay thai (they're almost the same), but the only MT gym I've gone to was the worst. It's actually too hard on you imo, seriously. It may have just been that particular gym, but boy oh boy! boxing is a horrendous work-out though - no doubt.
and that crap about being sore!?!? I'm a good athlete and work out 3-4 times a week and I get sore all the time! Some people genetically get it way worse than others (I'm one of them). Boxing is very good at making people sore lol...

anyway....i'm so glad to hear money saying good things about legacy. This and UFC are automatic buys. I can't wait to finally see gamplay vids and our community guys dish out the impressions! As soon as I know there's stuff online, it will be like 'morpheus is fightin' neo!' lol

I really hope the online aspect is tight also. I hope it isn't an afterthought. I know you can't speak on it but being that I'm an online guy mostly I wonder if I'll be pleased with it (Waiting for money to drop hint HERE)

Yes. I believe the developers already stated that the parry is gone.

Totalownership, I have some details on the online mode. But at the time of the event, they were still working on it so when I do drop the info about it, I don't know how accurate they will be for the final game.

There are two interesting things that I did find out about online though. Of course, I can't say crap about it right now. Sorry.
