Damn it is close. EA really needs to look into this, becasue 50% of their customers would like to have the choice.

Yeah. Ive actually gotten pretty decent with the stick, and can see why some people like it, but I would still like the choice.

I'm surprised its this close. If using the sticks actually offered more control like say the shot stick in the nba 2k games I could understand it but I have played the demo like 20 times and at least 1/5 of the punches I throw were intended to be different punches. So far the stick offers nothing but a few unintended punches.

AGREED! looks like its gonna be about 50/50, so EA better look into this hard, and not rush the game out so quick. Without buttons, alot of people won't buy the game, including me. Let the old school be old school, and the handicap(me) be handicap. It's really stupid to not have the option in the game.

Yeah I like it to be real so when I want to throw an uppercut, i throw a hook sometimes. Now thats real. Why is it ok to press a button to do the signature punches which is the most complicated looking punches in the game.

We should have the option to choose. i dont see what is wrong with that.

Buttons for me. The stick punching is much slower and not as responsive as I would like it to be. After playing the demo, this game went from 100% buy to rental first.

Exactly! If I want to sim a bolo punch I should have to waggle the motion-sensitive controller in a circle a few times and then tilting forward on the right thumbstick to signify when I'm ready to throw the punch!
