    Its weird because there is an issue with the stamina, i know. But at the same time while i haven't exactly faced the uber cheese masters, I've never encountered it.

    Every time i fight someone online, i murder their stamina. its not really realistic in the way i do it but its still possible. you just have to make them miss and pound their body. Without the body work their stamina would be at a full clip.... but if you work the body you can drain their stamina to nill.

        And I'll be those 2 games combined don't equal the sales of FNR3 or FNR4. Unfortunately, it's the nature of the business. I'm not saying it's right, just saying that's the way it is.
        Recovering slider addict...Fight Night Round 4 caused me to relapse...

          Man... didn't read this whole thread but my first online fight... I'm Hagler, my opponent is Robinson. In 7 rounds I'm KO'ed trying to avoid a flurry of over 1000 punches. A thousand punches?!?!?!?! What is this rockemsockem robots? Can't wait to see this stamina bug fixed.

            That was the case for me too but I was fighting a lot of unranked matches. When I fought a few ranked bouts(I'm currently an unimpressive 8-4) I encountered some spammer I simply couldn't handle. I just fought a gamer named omagu in a ranked bout. He was ra. I thought I would be facing a highly skilled "master fighter" and be easily handled. I picked Hearns (90% of the time I choose Monzon) so this guy "counters" me with..... HEARNS!! He KOed me in round 9 and did it by spamming right hooks to the body and head. That's it-876 of his 922 punches thrown were right hooks. He landed at a 63% rate (52% head [134/253], 68% body [455/669]). He was 0-8 with haymakers but essentially killed my stamina early. I tried firing back right crosses, tying him up, clinching him but to no avail. By the way-the blocking in this game is broken too.

              People keep saying they can't wait to see this fixed, but I don't know we will see it fixed. The only thing EA has officially announced is a set of downloadable sliders for offline play. The new stamina slider will have zero effect online.

              We may never see online any better than it is now.

                and there is no stamina issue offline. me and my buddy's play head to head every day and not one issue with stamina. and with a few touches to the sliders its even better because the power is greater. I even saw a one shot KO in the first round and the guy didnt even try to get up. flat on his back and his head was only moving. First time i saw a first KD be a KO. havent played online so im guessing its only a issue there. i have to agree with the above poster that if you make em miss your going to kill their stamina. but im only familiar with offline.

                  The blocking is just HORRENDOUS in this game. Hey, I'm glad we have a physics engine that allows punches to go through blocks but at what cost? 60%-70% connect rates on body punches?

                    Exactly, and the A-Holes producers of the game seem almost smug about not doing anything about online play. I was once excited about the game in early play, until I saw what it degraded to online. I'm taking LONG BREAK from this mess.

                      I'm just so glad I don't bother with online...still THOROUGHLY enjoying this game.

                        All they did was switch the parry with blocking and weaving. In FN3, if you parry a punch the puncher would slow down and be stunned. It's still like that in FN4, just for blocking and weaving.

                        I feel that they should have removed any type of slowdown and simply let there be reward for connecting punches. You keep the parry in there, just don't make the boxer get stunned when he's parried.
