New champion, Froch knows it. That look at the end of the fight says it all.

AD won that fight hands down. I do believe he got sucked in the Froch's garbage too much. You can't look for the ref to help you.
            Robbery nonetheless.

Close fight. I thought Andre edged it out but I'm not surprised by the decision. When the fight got ugly with all the holding, he gave away a couple of rounds. Then he had the point deduction. I was hoping he'd get the decision but when it was a split I knew which way it was going.

Dirrell has way too much talent to be the offspring of Cory Spinks and Ruiz. He lost that fight...and simply gave it to Froch. He should have won handily. Giving away the backside of your head and constantly holding is way too amateurish for someone with the skill level of Dirrell.

I wasn't listening when they announced the scores. Did anyone catch it? Kind of curious how they had the fight.

AD hurt his own cause. Too much appealing to the ref. He should have just buckled down and continue catching this cat. Everybody knows you can't give judges the opportunity determine the fight. AD wasn't as dicipline as he should have been. Still should have won this fight, however.

JT had a concussion!? Damn. I think that cat should call it a career.

I agree with the majority of posters on the Dirrell - Froch fight. I felt that he was the aggressor, controlled the pace and tempo all night long, and scored the cleaner shots all night long. Froch just wildly swung and mixed it up inside; he is just ugly to watch. I knew, however, that there was no way if it went to a decision that Dirrell would get the nod. He had to knock him out to win.

I also agree, however, that Dirrell needed to stop complaining and defend himself - it made him look weak and whiny. But, he'll learn, he acquitted himself nicely, and I think his best boxing is ahead of him.
