The Heavyweight division is a joke.
The sooner David Haye cleans house and unifys the division the better

Not gonna happen, bud. Not while the Klitschkos are still active.

Why, do you mean the fights will never happen?

Surely you don't think that Haye Can't beat these 2?

Wlad has been getting by for years as there is no competition out there and while Vlad was ok he is getting on in years and no way at 40+ he is beating Haye.

                Re: Klitschko vs Solis

Man, I thought Solis was one of the up and comers that had a chance against the Klitschkos. Solis was the last person to beat Haye as an amateur. At first I though he just injured his knee, but after watching several angles on replay, he clearly got tagged on the top of the head and both his legs turned to jelly, injuring his right knee on the way down. What a shame. I think Solis had the talent, he just never faced anyone the caliber of the Klitschkos on the way up the ranks, which is more telling about the state of the heavyweight division these days. Vitali is getting way up there in age though too. He sure looked stiff and robotic (more so though a usual Klitschko fight, I should say...lol!), and I would think that Haye would get the better of him, if only due to Vitali's age. Anything's possible though....as boring as the Klitschkos are to watch, they seem to have found a working formula for maintaining their reign at the top.

That's the only chance Haye has against either KO bro. If they suddenly age overnight, then he has a chance. But if both brothers are sharp, he doesn't have much of a chance.

With Wlad's chin, anything can happen, but Wlad is a completely different fighter than when he fought Sanders, Brewster or even the first Peter fight.
Since then he's gotten much better of protecting his chin, managing his stamina and he's also added more punches to his arsenal.

Haye's a very good fighter and he can probably beat everyone else out there. But there's a reason why he's been ducking Wlad for a while. He know's he's going to get flattened. I mean, the guy was laid-out by a Cruiswerweight. What's going to happen when he gets a right cross from two of the hardest hitters in the game today?
Haye hasn't exactly fought top competition as a HW. So I'm still very suspicious of his chin and whether or not he can take a few shots from two of the best.

Laid out by a cruiserweight...my point exactly.

Either the fight won't get made or if it does (against either Klitschko), Haye will get outclassed. That's just my opinion, but I firmly believe it.

Solis had nearly a decade long amateur career with 220+ victories, multiple world amateur championships and an Olympic gold medal. Had he had the opportunity to defect earlier he probably would have turned pro much sooner. He wasn't a rookie, but obviously wasn't ready to face someone of Vitali's caliber either.

Apparently, Solis injured his knee pretty seriously.

I know that Solis had a very distinguished amateur career but this has more to do with how pathetic the HW division is today.
I mean, look at his pro resume and there's nothing that jumps out at you. How did he earn a title fight? By beating Ray Austin? Seriously?
