    I also like the Patch, But these are huge problems after the Patch.

    Combination Punching in this Game as taken a Huge Step back from Round 4. It seems very difficult to string simple Combos/Punches together and to go on top of that...The Punch Input Delay Lag is making it worse.

    Really dislike the long range in which jabs and straights automatically turn into hooks. They should only make that transition when very very close to the opponent.

    Punching Accuracy. I throw the Jab or Straight and I know it hits the opponent and it does not register or it just stops and retracts. Also The Punch Input Delay seems worse than before when trying to string punches together.

    Not only that...It is very difficult to string combos together because of the Punch Accuracy, I mean I like the new ability to slip punches but when I throw a punch that I know that lands and it does not register as a hit. That sucks. Also, There is a severe lag when you hurt/stun/knockdown your opponent offline.

            I'm at work, but been reading over at EA Forums.... I know. Anyway some guys on there who I know are good boxers said there is an issue with the hooks in the game and the inside game is non extent . or at least the ability to throw two hooks, also the step back straight and hooks are missing. I know I read on here yesterday someone say they felt like there punches to the body and some to the head didn't connect when it was clear it should have

              This is gonna sound crazy, but I feel like the patch has deactivated for me offline (360). I had several fights last night where it felt noticeably different, but now every fight i've had has felt exactly like it used to pre-patch (no punch offsetting, accuracy way back up regardless of sliders, etc). Anyone else experiencing this?

                I will test this out....But I will tell you that most of the people are the EA board are crying because their chocolate milk spilled when they threw their controller because mashing the buttons is getting them ko'd.

                  It's 99% this ^^^. There are times that a head or body hook will come up short if the opponent is backing away. People are used to auto tracking. The same with a straight. If you throw the punch and they were already moving chances are it will miss.

                    I know most of the kids on their need their diaper changed over there. I don't even post there. Somebody tried to rip DaveD over there cause he gave some common sense advice . But like i said some guys over there are on the up and up seen it too.

                      Well if you see decent people over there, send them over here to discuss the sport. You should be ashamed of yourself, letting fellow boxing fans be subjected to the incessant whining on the EA boards.

                        played one match offline against the CPU on GOAT so far. I used Jack Johnson vs (CPU) Joe Louis.

                        -Perfect block freeze seemed to be gone. Both of us had to earn our counters. The number of counters didn't seem to be down a whole lot from what I'm used to after looking at the totals after the fight, but I the difference is I was no longer frozen from being able to put my guard up which is huge.

                        -Punch offsetting is def very improved. I used the jab to stop Louis' momentum all fight long. I noticed that I interrupted him with regular punches which I never could do before.

                        -Punch accuracy numbers are really good. The fight went 10 rounds, Joe Louis stole a unanimous decision after knocking me down in the 9th and 10th. I fought a good fight but he ended up being too much for me. He worked my body and completely wore me down to where I was a done deal in the 10th. My total % was 44 to his 41.

                        -Like I mentioned Stamina was improved as he was able to wear me down, Jack Johnson has like 19 stamina and conditioning. He landed about 250 body punches and it took until the 10th for me to wear down.

                        -Not sure if it was due to playing in the new arena (Dallas Stadium) but the framerate seems to have taken a hit. Didn't seem as smooth as I remember the game although I haven't played it in about a week and a half.

                        All in all, there is a noticeable difference and the game fights a seemingly more realistic type of boxing now post-patch. I'll check back in after I get some offline VS matches with my buddy in tonight.

                            ok just download the new tuner and fought a offline fight now of

                            Cab of (Me) vs Margacheato

                            I destroyed him, KO'd him in the 8th, could have done it sooner but I love pounding the crap outta him....stamina drain was much better

                            I had him in the 40%...I was in mid 80s%.... I threw 599 punches and he threw 586

                            Finally this game is starting to show its potential

                            Now if we could just get some of these bugs/glitches/freezes fixed

                            Still not playing anything but Fight Now

                              LOL this is kind of funny but today was my first match I've ever played online. I held off going online based on what I had been reading on here. So I finally got free time today and decide to give it a try. I was thinking the accuracy was pretty good and that the stamina seemed to be nowhere near as bad as people made it out to be. Then I come on here and read about the patch and that makes sense now.

                                My first fight with the new tuner set some guy tries to body spam with Haye. It wasn't your typical body spam, the punch speed seemed ridiculously fast. Anyways, I would pretend to walk towards him, step back and crush him with power rights. I knocked him down twice and he quit in the 4th round. Sim tactics truly do prevail in this game.
