Lets no get into the lies aspect of it. "I'm scared if needled." Enough said.

Yea, Cotto's biggest win came a month prior to Floyd's retirement. No ducking involved. Interpret as you may, but Cotto had his chance and his camp never sought out the fight. He didn't want it. He would have been destroyed.

Williams deserved a fight? Moreover, if everyone was avoiding Williams(and I don't blame them, he certaintly wasn't a conventional WW in terms of size), then how did Floyd duck him? Didn't Manny publicly avoid a fight with Williams?

Sicnce Manny is a legit and proven WW, then he's too big for Marquez, correct?
I'm not saying Manny hasnt ducked people either. Dont get me wrong I'm a Floyd fan. I want him to destroy Pac but I'm not willing to say he didnt duck people. I just find it interesting that he "retired" right when two of the tougher WW opponents (Cotto and Williams) were coming off huge high profile wins.

Floyd wouldn't take a Billion $ payday if he thought he would get beat. So I am sure he has handpicked his opponents which is basically the same as ducking other fighters.

I just want to see this fight between Floyd and Pac go down while they are still in their prime. I wonder what the odds would be.

Despite it getting frustrating sometimes. I actually like the out of the ring shenanigans, propaganda, and ruses. It makes things interesting. But now its time for the rubber to meet the road.

All fighters opponents are handpicked. The fighters Floyd "duck" couldn't beat him in hundred years. Super Fights take a long time to pull off. The longer their wait the more value the fight has in the public eye.

I dont know why people keep saying Manny agreed to take the testing. His own trainer, FREDDIE ROACH, admitted that they never agreed to the testing.

Honestly, all these Pactards just believe what Bob Arum says. BOB ARUM LIED TO YOU GUYS.

Fact of the Matter is, Manny side declined the fight. Floyd never turned it down. All Floyd wants is olympic style testing.

Honestly though, I belive Manny took PEDs. He went from 107s to 147s with such strength and speed its ridiculous. What boxer do you know jumped almost 3 weight classes and kept their speed/reflex while adding nothing but muscles. Really is unheard of, could be good training but the fact that Manny's body goes soft days after his fights is also an intriguing factor to look at.

Also to end all argument of who ducked who, watch this video.

How about Floyd Mayweather Jr. for one. He's moved thru 5 weight classes I believe and hasn't lost a thing in speed and he has certainly put on muscle..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

He's been a participant of USADA testing post retirement.

Also, Floyd moved up to WW and his KO/TKO rate plummeted from 70% to 17%. Moreover, if you missed his run at SFW and LW, he was significantly faster. His legs had way more life in them, and he threw more combinations.

And it took Floyd 8 years to go from SFW to WW. Not 3.

Oh. Are you saying that FM could have been using PEDs before his comeback then because he was moving through all those classes before retirement? Also he moved from Lightweight to Super Middleweight in 4 years.

For the record I don't think either one is using or did use.

The Pretty Boy was much much quicker before he arrived in the Welterweight department. He also was more of a puncher back then too.

I think as he moved up weight he noticed his speed drop and thats when he relied more on his defense.

And Floyd doesnt have KO Power, but his punches do sting because of the leverage and angle he uses.

I finally saw the replay of the punch. Reminds me of the outrage when Ali took out Liston with the phantom punch.

Totally legit, Floyd did absolutely nothing wrong. I mean seriously....he smacked him with a left hook prior to the KO punch. He's suppose to wait for Ortiz to be ready to get hit?

JayBee, the angle we are seeing in that gif is not the one I remember seeing live in the theatre. Granted I had my share of Crown and 7's on Saturday, but the camera I swear was showing a closeup from behind Ortiz.

Remember I was watching this in a theatre in Grand Rapids Michigan where people love Floyd. The crowd erupted, but when it happened, alot of thought it may be ruled a no contest. I just thought protect yourself at all times, but I was still unsure the clock was running at the fight had re-started at the moment it all went down.

From that angle, noone in the theatre including the rabid Floyd fans saw Cortez really tell them to resume fighting. We were all in shock what we just saw. I think that may be where people are upset. Once they see the wide angle, there is little doubt that it wasn't a sucker punch and Ortiz is loopy "tee hee hee gimme some love floyd".

Also funny about Ortiz(so far not mentioned in this thread), apparently he hit Floyd with numerous rabbit-punches. Chris Mannix of SI noted that Floyd had a huge lump behind his ear and Dan Rafael mentioned it in his division rankings...
