    Deontay Wilder

what does everyone think of American heavyweight Deontay Wilder (26-0 26KO's) ? i realise he's extremely raw, but he is one impressive physical specimen. 6'7" with an excellent athletic body type. he's about to begin stepping up the level of competition, and i think he's definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Meh. I saw him on Saturday and he looked average. He has a big right hand but nothing else impressed me.

He has to step up before I could make a judgement. He's been beating walking Everlast bags and assorted tomato cans.

              LOL

He's not getting wilder yet. His next opponent is the feared Siarhei Liakhovich, fresh off of two losses.

lol. He hasn't been relevant in years. The fight he had with Brewster was epic though.

Wilder is broken glass waiting to happen. He's fighting gardeners in a depleted weight class for a reason.

Still, I'd like to see Bermane Stiverne KO him and he would make an interesting bout for "David Price killer" Tony Thompson.

No matter what anyone says, this is a big step up for Wilder tonight.

Be interesting to see how he handles Sergei's first lead hook to the body.

No one has ever gotten the White Wolf out quick, so it will be a fascinating fight.

Sergei hasn't fought in 17 months and Jennings hit him repeatedly, not that Jennings is a bad fighter.

Sadly it is a step up for Wilder, considering his previous competition. I don't see Sergei lasting 5 rounds. The fight starts in a few minutes. A rare Friday Night ShoTime fight.

EDIT:OK, it's ShoBox showcasing the younger guys. Two preliminaries before the main event.

Wow, Wilder hit him so hard he was shaking. That's the kind of right hand that'll give you brain damage.

Doesn't matter. This was a massive step up for Wilder and he did what no one else could do.

                              Impressive performance.
