Who knows? The weights I posted were part of the HBO "tale of the tape" graphic shown at the beginning of the fight.

Chavez Jr. often entered the ring 15-18 pounds heavier than his scale weight when he fought at 160.

I read one report he came in at 185 for one of his MW fights.

          Decent upcoming weekend of fights:

Dmitry Bivol vs Sullivan Barrera- Barrera stopped Joe Smith's momentum but Bivol can hit.

Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz- Assuming Ortiz passes inspection I view this as a potential upset.

Sergey Kovalev vs Igor Mikhalkin- It will be interesting to see the further progression of "Krusher" but "Igor" has little chance.

Nice analysis. Too bad boxing's promoters and networks continue to screw the fans by scheduling these cards on top of each other on HBO and Showtime Saturday night.

              Hello, DVR.
              Thanks.

I hear you but it doesn't bother me so much, because even when there aren't competing bouts on I sometimes record for later.

It's another story when the conflict involves one of the bouts being a PPV offering.

I didn't realize that Barrera was that big an underdog.

To my Canadian brethren, what station is broadcasting the Wilder fight?
I can get Kovalev on HBO, but I can't find anything for Wilder-Ortiz.
                  I'm with Bell, btw.

I found something called FuboTV which is a legit streaming service.
                  Free 7-day trial too.
May have to do that. But I hate watching tv on my laptop.

                    You don't get ShowTime? They're doing Wilder-Ortiz.

I can but I have to purchase a separate sports package for an additional $25/month.

I was forced to read live updates.
Sounds like Ortiz really tagged him and had him out on his feet in the 7th(?)
                            Is that accurate?

Watched a video showing the finish. It wasn't the best footage as it was someone recording a guy watching the fight on his TV.
Looks like Wilder ended it in dramatic and exciting fashion.

Totally off topic, Mike Tyson's Undisputed tour is coming to Detroit on June 24th!
                            Can't wait!

He's still wild as hell but you can't doubt his chin or heart. Not to mention that right hand from hell.

I really hope that if Joshua takes care of business on March 31st, we'll finally see these two in the ring before 2018 closes out.
I wouldn't be shocked if Joshua ducks him for a bit longer though.
I think Wilder could very well be the best HW on the planet right now.
He's not very dynamic in his approach, but clearly his right-hand negates most of his shortcomings.
40-0 with 39 KO's is nothing to scoff at.
