    Re: Boxing Off-Topic

Another guy from the shows I used to do wants Adrian Broner. Pretty cool to see these guys enter the world stage. First Denton Daley fought (and lost) for a cruiserweight world title and he's now retired. Brandon Cook and Sammy Vargas have been on some big network cards getting close to titles and now Cody Crowley ... The thing is, I think Cody would BEAT Broner. Cody has trained with Floyd Mayweather in fact he was one of the ones to help get him ready for Pacman (because he's a lefty). I wonder if FLoyd would consider training him if he beat broner? Anyway a really old interview I did with Cody a few years ago:
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

That south paw jab is sneaky as hell. Brook looked so confused after that shot. I know that I might be in the minority but Tessatore is so annoying calling sports. I can't stand him. I miss Lampley. And after complaining about the long delay for the decision in the fight before. They took forever to start the main event. Great win for Crawford. I always thought he was the real pnp. Not Lomo.

Good win for Crawford but he better jump on that payday with Spence quick. While I thought Brook would give him a good run It was apparent that Brooks history of taking punishment has affected him and his chin is shot. I know it’s hard to see but Crawford is taking shots he never did before with each successive fight that’s a big red flag for diminishing reflexes. I want to see how Spence looks but both of them need to make this fight happen next fight before one of em loses. I think it would be a great fight stylistically and both have dog in them. Crawford has one more year of prime skills left..

That Tyson vs Jones weigh in just ruined my day while they are in great shape for their age they look like two old men about to fight. I truly hope Tyson doesn’t get a urge and hype to fight a true boxer after this as it would be a disaster. Something tells me there’s a gentleman’s agreement between Tyson and Jones to entertain but keep power shots in check. I can’t support this at all .

I can't help myself. I'm all in on this PPV.
It's not just Tyson though, I legit think some of the prelim bouts have potential to be entertaining.
Everyone in my household wants to see Paul get KO'd.

After what I watched last night between Rosado and Jacobs, literally any fight outside of a Ruiz vs Carboard Box bout will be better.

Mike was clearly a bit more prepared for this. I hope Roy protects himself well enough to not catch a huge shot. Mike kinda looks like he’s just getting warmed up too, Roy is about done.

I saw that final round. It look like if Roy wasn't running and holding Mike might have got him?

I was entertained for the evening but that draw killed it for me. That "decision" was 100% rigged to do a money grab and do it again.
Tyson looked far better than Roy which surprised me. I didn't expect Roy to tire so much more than Tyson. Congrats to Mike for real. He looked damn good for a 54 year old 15 years removed from his last fight. At the end he looked like he wanted more rounds, while Roy looked like he was begging for it to end.

Also, Nate Robinson had no business being in a boxing ring
