Lol nah man no hate at all like others have stated it’s the business of boxing! I am all for anyone making loot but he was a average to below average fighter that fought a terrible mma fighter but made it out to look like he was some type of prodigy.. there’s a million boxers who deserve that spotlight and are way more skilled but grandfather was not Ali.. it’s not feasible but that’s just my opinion. I hope the kid succeeds and makes his grandfather proud but I saw a kid that’s gonna get knocked out sooner than later.

By the way anyone paying for the pac fight tonight? I was all set to pull the trigger with Spence but I just can’t with UGas. One thing I agree with arum on is that this is not a PPV fight!!

This was actually a good card tonight. All fun fights but I think Ugas got this one. His defense was really good and Paq could barely get through.

People on the outside looking in who really don’t know boxing or are casual fans won’t notice how much he has slippped even since his last fight.. his speed is still elite in spurts but he can’t sustain those combos and bounce in and out like he used to it’s either throw a combo and wait to get hit or just feint and bounce out!! He still has remarkable stamina but he is getting hit with looping punches now and you can tell it’s affecting him!! UGas did great but to me he is just basic he does just enough to keep the fight close not dynamic or explosive. I would’ve loved to see if Spence could e stopped pac because his walk em down style would’ve definently paid off!! Pac can still beat bottom five but he is not at that level to beat champions again!!

Spence would murder 2021 Pac in a ring most likely. Probably lucky it didn't happen.

for me, it's pac's lack of adjustments and over-thinking it a bit. He's so off-balance too much, especially with his running flurries and the range is not working. I agree with everything you said too, but just to add, he's been doing the off balance thing for years and it hurt him in this one and overthinking because istead of throwing a 1-2 straight down the middle, his straight left would be WAY off as if he's guessing Ugas's head would be somewhere else. there were at least 3 BIG straights following a jab he missed and would have connected soundly if he just put it right behind the jab.

I think he's done too though, he just can't really adapt - if he's not dominating early it's sort of over for him because he won't adjust the rest of the fight.

I agree and I g you remember Floyd and his father were saying the same thing that pac can’t adjust and if you negate his lunging that n and out with jabs and counters he is done!! I think UGas had tremendous poise and patience and skillfully countered and blocked punches all night long without moving at all.. I think UGas gets in trouble when he is pressed to
engage constantly . I think Spence would’ve stopped pac but I also think they both would’ve taken shots and it would’ve been a war!! Crawford needs to get his butt going these money fights are going away quick forget porter he need to go direct to Spence and bet on himself during first fight negotiations in favor of better negotiations for a second fight meaning he needs to take a money and ego hit the first fight win and control everything for the rematch!!

Pacquiao should have retired after beating Thurman. That would have been a nice finish to a great career

True. Ali should have quit after Foreman. Leonard should have stopped after Hagler. Holmes should never have gotten in the ring with Tyson. Some of them can't quit although Pacquiao would be a fool to continue despite what Max Kellerman says.

I don't blame them for keeping taking paydays, but I'm done expecting anything from him. He's been washed for far too long outside of having a punchers chance in fights.

He did beat Thurman, but Keith's injuries have kept his career tamped down.

There are always YouTube 'celebrities' to spar with in exhibitions for millions of dollars, which is the 21st century retirement plan (apparently). Despite whatever someone might say right now, I think it would be hard for anyone to turn down an easy million-dollar payday for doing essentially nothing against a guy that has no chance of really hurting you. I mean, more people watch Mayweather fight joke exhibitions than have watched almost any legitimate boxing match in the past decade. This is such a hilariously scathing indictment of boxing.

Your right my man I hate what’s going on but if I’m a boxer able to make millions by just sparring and carrying a YouTube celebrity for a fight I’m in! The problem is casual fans are buying these fights and the boxing game itself is nothing but boxers looking to make a big payday rather than chase legacy and greatness!! Fans are tired of waiting for a Spence vs Crawford fight and these exhibitions are filling that casual void! I just saw that Paul vs Woodley match on
YouTube it was awful!! Woodley is a horrible boxer and his feet are cement!! Paul is on a golden glove amateur level!! And the fight was boring and devoid of skill! But someone paid top dollar for it and will do it again!! This is the second time I think a Paul fight was rigged Woodley did nothing to actually press and hurt Paul and I'm noticing every time they got close Woodley just stood up and allowed himself to be clutched sort of like the Maywearher fight!! Im also noticing that Woodley really aint talking much and something tells me there is going to be a rematch in this screenplay.. You can tell when Woodley really timed him and shot that counter right it landed evry time but he mysteriously stopped doing it after he hurt Paul
