This was a war of pride by two warriors. Both showed amazing heart and put on an all time display.

Sadly for Wilder, heart doesn't win fights, and he isn't on the same skill level as Fury.

But no one I've watched live has Wilder's heart. He fought until he literally could not anymore.

But man I can't help thinking what if Wilder started boxing earlier and learned head movement, defense, and how to shorten up his punches. Scary thought

Great fight but Wilder was exhausted for some rounds before the knockout. He expended a lot of energy early in the bout by missing punches and his dense muscles didn't help. His jab faded to nothing as the fight went on.

Wilder refused a gesture of sportsmanship from Fury and then walked out of the ring with his gloved hand raised. I wonder if he thinks he won? He was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

Tremendous fight! I'm in absolute awe of how much heart these men showed tonight. Simply incredible. Kudos to both these guys for giving the boxing world something that is extremely rare nowadays: 2 fighters with "big names" fighting each other in their primes not once, not twice, but three times! Big props....

I was 1 round from my prediction but it played out like I thought!! Wilder had heart and a punchers chance always but that added weight hurt him and his speed and mobility suffered plus he still hasn’t learned to move his head while punching!! Fury is a great fighter and he is a big man!! All that muscle means nothing in any sport it has to be functional!! I lost respect for wilder when he. Callled fury a crackhead and dope fiend in front of his family then didn’t stay in the ring and show sportsmanship and now I believe what his last trainer Mark Breland said he is hard headed arrogant and self absorbed!! It is what it is great fight but wilder took career altering punishment these last two fights he did s just about done at this point!!

Wilder is to much of a one trick pony ( now that right hand is a hell of a trick mind you lol) but I think Fury retires him for good after tomorrow night.
Well like edaddy I'm all for quoting myself as well..
Went pretty much as expected, wish I'd had a bet!
Anyway the one trick looked like it might work there.. but thankfully not. Totally classless at the end as well...
Hoping Dilian Whyte will at long last get his deserved shot at the title now..

Wilder is a sore loser but he does have heart. He took a LOT of punishment.

Fury has one heck of a chin to get up from that forehead shot.

I hope AJ will step aside and let Fury get a unification shot with Usyk.
But I wonder if either guy would prefer a 'safer' fight with each other than what Fury brought in all 3 fights with Wilder.

In a perfect world, AJ fights Whyte and the winner gets Fury/Usyk.

wow, this was one for the ages......it was exciting from beginning to end. add this trilogy to the other legendary trilogies. the heavyweight division is back!!!! boxing is back!!!! BOTH had heart and wilder went out on his shield, no doubt about it.

want the perfect world, both intriguing matchups for sure. but don't forget to add wilder/ruiz jr. to that mix.

                        Great point!
That's a good fight as well.

I'm bummed out because I couldn't find any options to legally stream the fight in Canada.
I use an IPTV service and I wasn't able to find one app that sold the fight.
Even pinged Top Rank directly via Twitter and never got a response.
I'm sure I didn't look in the right places, but it shouldn't be so hard for a fan to watch a PPV fight.
I had to settle for a Live Results blog to get updates.

right, jaybee...it was like a rocky fight, dare i say. i do wonder how much wilder will have left after these 3 fights. he did, however, earn more respect from this loss than maybe any of his past victories.

Yeah, Helenius was brutalizing him throughout the fight AT WILL and Kownacki took the easy way out. His reward-irrelevancy.
